Everyone may hate her, but Ivana was smart. It was obvious that the Donald thought that Bradford was being stupid, and anyone who watched last season knows Trump wasn't going to get rid of Stacie - his drama factor - in the second episode.

Which is why the complete sentence I wrote read: "The difference is Trump doesn't let his cockiness impair his judgment -- or perhaps more to the point (and maybe even more accurately), he doesn't want anyone running one of his companies whose cockiness will impair his judgment."

Put it this way -- however Trump may do things (and he has definately made some bad judgments, fueled, no doubt, by his inflated self-image, shall we say), would George and Carolyn still be around if they pulled a Bradford?

Maybe its as simple as Trump's ego doesn't want the competition. Whatever, Bradford desreved to go. Ivana does, too, and I doubt it will be long for her. Trump apparently said as much in the "extra boardroom footage" that aired Saturday night.

The woman who worked at Goldman Sachs...the one who made fun of the kids' haircuts...

Let's just say she was in huge trouble for joining a company after Goldman, and running a competitor to the company while stealing tons of intellectual property and resources.

But that's just what I've heard...

No, that's Pamela, the one woman on Mosaic, the one who's so proud of all of her caviar knowledge -- she even knows what toast points are.

Stacie, the "restaurateur" (she owns a SubWay), was the one fired. She's the one who during the first task was quizing the Magic 8-Ball. Trump fired her when everyone else said she was crazy and made them really nervous during the first task.

That scene must have been heaviliy edited, because while I might have labeled her highly annoying, I didn't see anything to warrant "crazy" or "borderline schizophrenic" or that should have made the other team members fear for their safety.

Maria and Elizabeth both dodged the bullet last night. One of them should have been the one fired.

I agree. She acted very odd during the 8-ball incident, but anybody who felt nervous or scared or that she was in danger because of Stacy's behavior really needs to get a clue.

I think the Donald put too much stock into what these other women said. Obviously Maria and Elizabeth were trying to save their own asses, and they all didn't like Stacy -- just because these women don't like Stacy doesn't mean that she's crazy. They were just protecting the ones they liked better.

I completely agree! I was disappointed with last night's episode because Trump put way too much trust in the opinions of the rest of the group in making his decision, rather than in performance of the task. He should have fired Stacie after the first task if that were the case. It's obvious that the rest of the group doesn't like Stacie, and that is understandable, but Stacie is not the reason they lost. Stacie does seem a bit out there, but when the women were saying that the 8-ball incident was one of the scariest moments of their lives... that just seems a bit much to me

I agree that Stacie should NOT have been fired last night for the "eight ball incident"...but maybe we'll get a better understanding of the boardroom by watching the additional "rerun" on Saturday with the additional 15 minutes from the boardroom.

In your opinion, if either Maria or Elizabeth were the only two who were able to go home last night, who would YOU have fired?

maria. she didn't get a contract from the dude, she just went on his word that it would be like 1800 and it ended up being about 6000. in my opinion, she is who should have gone.

Yes! I suspect they all lied in order to get Stacie J. out! They saw how seriously Trump took the news and they saw it as Stacie's way out.

totally. especially since the group had been trying to get rid of her from the start. i missed the beginning of the episode, so i didn't see the task. i can't wait to catch it tonight.

Here's the psych coming out in me.....Unless it's on the cutting room floor, NO ONE in that boardroom (Maria came the closest), gave any concrete description of Stacie's behavior and why it "scared" them. Playing with and believing in an 8 ball means nothing. Stacie could have been doing that just to get camera time, or she could have been doing it to pump everyone else up (maybe the conversation in the room went downhill....we didn't see that.....).

Although, I'm thinking that Trump might have some sort of background info on Stacie that she may have some sort of behavioral/psychiatric problems in her past. Why else would he let her go with vague statements like that? The girls never even specified what fires the Project Manager had to keep putting out because of Stacie! So I'm thinking he had some background info, or saw some camera footage that we didn't see that told him she had some real problems. Heck, last season everyone ganged up on Omarosa in much the same way, and didn't Trump make her a Project Manager (giving her team EVERY OPTION to fail and get her fired) and she STILL managed to stay on a few weeks longer?

We'll see what the extra footage says....
