Yes I am. Thank you for not posting anything relevant to this thread and being such a wonderful asset to this website. You have failed my absolutely retarded test and are now on ignore. Enjoy it because I reserve that special place for the really reeeeeeally slow people.

Because this issue was brought before a federal judge that does that mean this was an appeal to a decision that was made earlier?
By the time the judge said no, isn't it already toolate to have an alternate plan? How much would it have cost to have a protest parade in the street, like the one used for Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, during the convention?

Yes they also filed their claims too late on top of not wanting to post bond or be responsible for their actions.

Thanks for the link Rudey.
The following information comes from the article.
"Christopher Dunn, associate legal director with the New York Civil Liberties Union, said arguments about freedom of expression aside, the cost of staging the rally on the West Side Highway would be prohibitive to event organizers.
"They can't afford it," he said, referring to the $631,000 price tag for sound equipment and jumbotrons. Event organizers estimate that it would cost less than half - or $250,000 - if the rally were held in Central Park."
Here is where it get interesting. The costs involved to protest. I think it's wrong for the event organizers to expect that NYC taxpayers should pick up the tab for repairing and resodding the park after it's use. Poor planning on their part for not thinking about the extra fees involved to have something of this size. I think the crowd estimates were low in the story if the protesters did have their Cental Park location.

Please plan your trips accordingly.
That was an email forwarded to me from a co-worker. There's all types of protests going on. I'm not sure which belong to what party but there are all types of issues being represented.

CNN: They hung "George Bush is the anti-Christ" signs in their window, and a cheer went up from the marchers below as they played The Beatles' song, Give Peace a Chance, from speakers propped up in their windows.
Now thats credibility, common sense and people worth listening too!

If the convention was in Tennessee, they would put on even more of a freak show. The overwhelmed Tennessee law enforcement officers would overreact, and Tennessee would be portrayed as a third world nation.
Be grateful that Tennessee doesn't have to handle something that's way beyond its ability.

Wasn't Tennessee the state that wouldn't allow visiting Iraqi leaders in some buildings?
Yes, yes they were. The Iraqis were probably pansy assed liberals though, right?
