Reason for joining/Favorite Sister/Brother

my reason's for being a Pi Phi were b/c of influence on many aspects. First Semester Fresh yr i was an Athlete (Swimming & diving) and i didnt think i would have time for both, even thou i knew i wanted to be in a sorority since HS. One of my really good friends who was on the Rowing team pledged Kappa Kappa Gamma while she was on the team and assured me that it was doable to pledge and continue with your sport. So i decided then that next semester i would rush. SHe came home and talked about how much fun and aweosme the Kappa girls were, i meet a few of them in class too and decided that i wanted to be in a sorority and kappa was looking good to me. So i went in the SPring to rush COB. i wanted to have a open mind so i attended about 4 rush parties. and then i found Pi beta phi. I instantly clicked with the girls at pi phi and i knew this was where i was soposto be. i knew that this was my home away from home and i had so much in common, while i am soo greatful for my friend christy who exposed me and made me want to be Greek i am also greatful that i found my own house and i found the girls who i am proud to be a part of. I <3 Pi Phi my big sis i meet on bid day and we instantly clicked when we started talkin about surfing ...
now i love my big and my lil sis's and i couldnt ever imagine being anything other than a Pi Phi.. my big Bro as well as my Boyfriend are TKE's so i Gotta love the TKE's also :P

I ran into a friend I hadn't seen in months. I found out she was a DZ. She knew I was interested in joining a sorority and told me to contact her I wanted more info. She is so down to earth and one of the nicest people I know. She totally broke the "snotty Greek" stereotype that I saw from some other people. Semesters later I went through their COB, and they took me in with open arms. I met my now big sis on the first day I hung out with these girls. We clicked instantly. She is my favorite person in the world.
