I'm so happy to hear it is all going so well! Tania, I have some tee shirts from Nu Beta, can you PM and tell me where to mail those shirts to? They are AOII shirts that are brand new in all sizes and I thought the new girls up there might like them!
GO AOII @ St. Joe's!

The colonization parties sound so fun! GOOD LUCK to everyone at St. Joe's!
Isn't it so exciting to know we'll have some brand new AOIIs soon?

Update
Things are definitely in full swing. Although the first party was cancelled due to weather and had to be rescheduled, the rest of the events went extremely well. Every PM had a blast. It was also good that many of the AAC were there to get the feel for the young women. Personal appointments started yesterday and will continue through out the day.
Since this colonization process is a little different, bids cannot be distributed until FR Bid Day. This way all NMs get their bids on the same day.
We'll see how it all turns out.

Update
Sorry this is a little late. We have been celebrating (and recuperating from) the Carnival Season!
Anyhoots, we have 40 new pandas! Colonization took place on Feb. 5. They will continue the next several weeks with COR events as CT is 70.
Chartering is TBA because I forgot to ask.

Awesome news on St. Joe's. I have the address to send the tee shirts from Nu Beta and I can get that together this weekend! I'm so excited. I wonder what the chapter name will be? I'm so excited to hear they are doing so awesome. Roses to everyone on the Extension team and to the alumnae up there who are working hard and to the new members!

Alpha Omicron Pi Colonizes at Saint Joseph’s University
Alpha Omicron Pi colonized its newest colony at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia on February 5, 2005. Forty-two women took part in the colonization ceremony that officially established the colony on the campus of SJU. Toni Morgan, AOII’s Vice President of Development, conducted the colonization ceremony in the Forum Theatre at the Campion Student Center among 120-plus attendees. The guests included university administration, family and friends, AOIIs and other Greek organizational members. AOII’s International President, Sally Wagaman welcomed each new colony member with a red rose following their pinning. Kim Carroll, AOII Executive Board Director of Programming and members of the SJU Alumnae Advisory Committee served as sponsors for the colony members.
The colony at Saint Joseph’s University is scheduled for installation in late April. This will be AOII’s 179th chartered chapter. More details regarding the initiation and installation ceremonies will be forthcoming.

This is awesome news. Congratulations to all those new pandas!
I was looking for information for a certain graduate program and noticed the St. Joe's came up for it. It would be really awesome to go to a school with such a close AOII chapter. Although, I am still getting used to being an alum.

Installation of AOII Colony at Saint Joseph’s University Set for April 23rd
Alpha Omicron Pi is pleased to welcome 37 new sisters and its 179th chapter in an initiation and installation ceremony slated for April 23, 2005. The Hilton Philadelphia City Avenue Hotel is the site for the initiation and installation ceremonies. This initiation ceremony is set for 12:30 p.m. in the Borghese Garden Room of the Hilton. Sally Wagaman, AOII International President, will serve as the installing officer. A Rose Banquet honoring our newest sisters and chapter will take place at the hotel at 6:30 p.m. in the Grand Garden Ballroom.
Congratulatory letters and gifts may be sent to the chapter in care of their Chapter Adviser. Please send your notes, gifts, etc. by April 20, 2005 so that they may be included in the Rose Banquet ceremonies. The address for the Chapter Adviser is as follows: Suzanne Martin, Sigma Beta Chapter Adviser; 197 East Chelsea Circle; Newton Square, PA 19073.
The colony, which was colonized on February 5, 2005, has chosen Sigma Beta for its chapter name. Sigma Beta's submotto -- "simplicity and beauty" -- was selected in reference to the AOII badge. All AOII's are invited to attend this historical event. If you or your chapter is interested in being a part of the initiation and installation events, please contact Lori Belew, Administrative Director of Public Relations at AOII International Headquarters – lbelew@alphaomicronpi.org – by April 18, 2005.
