If a wife cheats on her husband, he should punch her bloody. If she thinks it's cavemanish and wants to go to the cops, he should let his high priced lawyer show her what it feels like to have everything taken away from her life and be made to feel like a cheap whore.

Plus he knows if he ever cheated on me, the utter carnage and devastation I would wreak would make The Alamo look like flag football......of course, he can't afford to cheat on me anyway but I still like having the fear of God in him!!!!!!

completely wrong. anyone who thinks it is ok is deluded and stupid. first off, if the marriage truly was a goner WHY oh WHY was she still wearing her wedding rings?? it seems those would be the first thing gone if the marriage was nonexistent except for on paper. plus, think of the husband. dont think of that skank-ho. your friend seriously needs to reevaluate his actions next time.

May I take this opportunity to point out all the DILFs who have a little tootsie at the office or wherever? I know of an awful lot of late teen and early-twentysomething girls who think nothing of having themselves a little old sugar daddy. And it's always the same thing...."Oh he HATES his wife, she doesn't give him what he needs, she let herself go, she only cares about the kids, she's an old bitch, bla bla bla...." And usually these girls KNOW the guy is married and they don't care. Not that I think anyone on here is doing that, but the facts are it works both ways and it's just as heinous. (My hubby thinks he's so hilarious when he tells his friends on my 40th birthday he's going to trade me in for 2 20 year-olds.....)

And as for just hooking up with someone in a relationship as your designated **** - the reason people don't do it is called integrity and if you wanna be a home wrecker then you're not a very pleasant person are you?
True, true, true...

Dogs don't rate high on the integrity scale.

But why does he need that on his conscious? If she's gonna do it anyway, let her do it with someone else. Unless he's a total ogre, he shouldn't have a problem nailing an older, single b-rod.

It isn't Kitso's friend's job to enforce G.I. Hoe's marriage vows. Nor is it his job to protect her children. It is HER responsibility and she is doing a lousy job. SHE should be faithful and SHE should be thinking of her children. It's called taking responsibility for ones actions.

No, there is nothing okay about this situation, but I put the blame squarely where it belongs: in the mom's court. She's a piece of crap; no doubt about it.

So it's desiring excessive ridiculous things of someone for them to not be an ACCESSORY to the destruction of a relationship, asking for them NOT be a catalyst or NOT precipitate the destruction/decay of a relationship.

A person cannot cheat with themself despite what some people - bizarrely blameless as far as they're concerned - in this thread seem to think.

"Gee KillarneyRose (& others) you sure are trustworthy and upstanding aren't you".

Cheated on much?

Look dude be logical. What you are kind of saying is that if no one was ever willing to hook-up with someone in a relationship, there would be no cheating. And thats true. But thats kind of asking the people on the outside to police your relationship for you. Thats not their respnsibility.

You are preaching loyalty by default. Someone that doesn't cheat is loyal. Someone that has no opportunity to cheat is also loyal.

Thats not true loyalty. Loyalty is correct action in the face of temptation. Without temptation there is no loyalty. IF the only reason your SO isn't screwing others is because he/she doesn't have the chance .. . well that might not be the best basis to have a relationship.

Just like fear. If you don't feel fear, you can't be courageous. Its only in acting despite your fear that you show courage.

Quit being such a sanctimonious turd, decadence. Since you've expressed interest, I AM both trustworthy and upstanding. Furthermore, I don't need to rely on the scruples of other people to keep me out of trouble. I don't need them because I have my own.

That was a personal attack that was quite unwarranted, decadence. I haven't always agreed with what you write, but I expected better from you.

Obviously the truth is painful; given the name-calling. If you think cheating on a partner/sleeping or whatever with someone who's married or in a relationship is perectly okay then fine - I don't and won't so lets quit this pointless exchange.
