Hey AggieSigmaNu361,

I totally agree with you about Coach K, except that I have serious GIRL Crush on him. He is a class act and if get to Durham before he retires, I will be knocking on his office to door to finally meet one of the greastest if not the greastest active coach in college hoops today. Coach K kind of reminds me of Jimmy V in the way that he sincerely cares for his players and their families.

Have you read his book Leading wit the Heart ? Great book

I MISS JIMMY V.

By women's pool I assume you mean the women are gonna pick brackets for men's basketball right? Because picking women's brackets would be about as fun as genital herpes.

You assume wrong, Rudith, seeing as though Marquette's men team is playing right now in the Not Invited Tournament, and thus is not in the NCAA. However, the Lady Golden Eagles realized that we are not supposed to suck at basketball, and so I want to pick them to win.

As someone who played basketball throughout high school, I gotta admit that while playing is fun, watching women's basketball isn't that exciting!! I even got bored watching BC beat UConn during the big east tourney, and that was HUGE for them. Good one though, Rudey. Best of luck to you Marquette fans...did they win in the NIT last night?

WE DID. We took those Rockets and sent them back to Toledo.

I really can't wait to see how awful my NCAA picks end up, I just went with fun logic, like does the school have a Gamma Phi chapter, do I want to go to law school there, how that state voted in the last election...very random.

My dream matchup: Pitt-UConn for the National Championship. We both took one game during the regular season, UConn won the tourney by one hoop. Pitt would be out for revenge. That would be an awesome game
Absolutely, that would be a great game. I'm hoping Okafor will be ok; Villanueva should be, he probably could have played against Pitt but Calhoun wanted to hold him out to make sure he was ok.

I've gotta pick my boys to take it all...GO HUSKIES.

Hey...maybe my alma mater will even take the NIT, who knows.

I'm in. I want to pick my alma matter (Western Michigan University) all the way, but I know that is pool suicide. I did at least put them through to the 2nd round!

I also have a very scientific way of making picks - mascot/colors/and Chi O chapter all play in...You may think I'm silly, but when I win it all you will all be sorry!!!

I'm pullin for UAB, because of their coach Mike Anderson. He was an assistant at Arkansas during the "40 minutes of hell" days and is bringin that defense to UAB. Too bad Nolan Richardson f'd him out of the head coaching job at Arkansas, but at least hawgball is being played somewhere.
