I am sorry, the hip hopera was entertaining you've got to admit that much. I was laughing all the way through it. Kings of comedy ---look out!

However I was quite upset that Rah "and I write my own ryhmes!" Digga actually rapped those corny lines.

Did anyone notice that Mehki didn't even wash his face before sitting to that kitchen table.
How do you cook an entire meal without the aroma waking someone up?
Am I confused but didn't Carmen tell her friend that she was gonna end up getting with Blaze so she could dig his pockets? Then turn around and kicks it with him herself.

Oh poor Robert Townsend, it's "night's like this I wish that rain drops would fallllll"!!!

I was thinking the same thing when he approached them and was like can I talk to your girl and the friends left.

Hollywood Shuffle was also a really good movie. That would be my personal vote for his best.

And come ON y'all, Beyonce wasn't great, but she was not THAT BAD! She was BETTER THATN MONICA IN LOVE SONG!!! Now THAT was some poor acting.

But the little "going back to cali" segment was in fac bootleg and trife. What the heck did rah digga have on her head? Who told booty crack girl that she could rap? Actually, who told her that she was cute?

Mos Def was DEFINITELY the best thing about the movie

I just caught this masterpiece...

What idiot made butt crack sexy? The last time I checked it was associated with fat, nasty, plumbers. By the way, everyone should get ready for Destiny Child's new single based on Carmen the hipopera, written and produced by Beyonce..it's title? Crackalicious.

ROFLSLMBO!!

I have no cable, but I was about to run out and get it for a week just to watch this trash!! Mayeb I'll have a friend tape it. You know I feel like those people who drive by horrible accidents and slow down to see severed limbs? I just really want to see this horrible movie, after everyone has trashed it so eloquently!

And I will admit to being anti-Beyonce. It's like trying to relive the Supremes drama with less class.

Am I wrong for clapping at her death scene??

Oh well, if it was wrong... I don't wanna be right. Around my way, we call girls like Carmen (as portrayed by Miss Beyonce) "Boppers".

Okay...I didn't have the "pleasure" of watching the MTV take on "Carmen", but I'm not surprised it was bootleg. Why are they playing up Beyonce (what sort of name IS THAT?!)? Don't they see what happened to Brandy? Since MTV plays things millions and millions of times, I imagine I'll be seeing this "hunk of hot ghetto mess" at least once this summer.

Robert Townsend needs to STOP. Who keeps on supporting his bad film habit?

Robert Townsend has made some good movies in the past, namely Hollywood Shuffle which had me LMAO back then.
I saw bits and pieces of Carmen, the Hiphopera. Maybe I'm too old, but I don't get Beyonce, but that's the hype.
Give me some good ol' mainstream jazz singing (Sarah Vaughan) any time.

Well, I love musicals. I love the original version of Carmen. The hip-hopera of Carmen was good. It was bootlegged and thrown together, but it was good. Shoot, I don't even like Beyonce'. I fell out with her because she always leads the songs, the camera is always on her, and after watching the movie I finally saw that she was not cute. But she can sing. The group needs to come up with more mature songs. Now back to the movie. I was personally into Mos Def and Derrick (Lem) from Soul Food. Is he a rap artist? He did real good!!!
