YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

*stands up*
My name is Sarah and I am a Starbucks Peppermint Mocha addict. Thank you.
*sits down*

I was sitting in my acting class with one of my sisters and one of our classmates walked in with the Starbucks signature red holiday cup and goes "Guess what? it's Peppermint Mocha time!" So we begged our instructor to let us run downstairs and get one. He let us. What a great day that was...yum.

other favorite holiday foods/beverages:
-green bean casserole
-my grandmother's homemade stuffing
-garlic and basil smashed potatoes
-my aunt's portuguese style pasta with seafood
-my uncle's signature chicken wings (this is the ONLY time i eat dark meat chicken, EVER!)
-pumpkin pie
-peppermint ice cream
-southern comfort/eggnog
-warm apple cider

mmmm...thank god thanksgiving is about a week away.

I've never had sweet potato pie before, I'll have to try it sometime, my co-worker had it today for lunch, and I love sweet potatos!

My mom makes this delicious salad during the holidays... it's lettuce, chopped up celery, mandarin oranges, toasted sugar coated almond slices, and this sweet dressing she makes... sooooo good.

I also love Christmas cookies and pecan pie with cool whip!

the holiday drinks at starbucks are selling like crazy. one day, we ran out of gingerbread syrup and i thought the customers were going to lose it. i LOVE egg nog, but i do not understand eggnog latte. maybe it is because i hate the taste of coffee, but why would you want to put espresso in your eggnog.
we also have the eggnog frappacino which i think is disgusting.

my other fav. holiday drink is cinnamon apple cider

sweet potato pie is incredible!!!!!!

I know that is what I thought, but I got hooked on it last year after on of my friends convinced me to try it. Then this year my mom tried it and she is addicted too.

That it is... but my favorite is Hot Chocolate with Amaretto! YUM!! It tastes best when watching the first snow of the year!

My favorite holiday treats:

My mom's homemade chocolates, especially her peanut butter cups!
My grandma's pies, which I have learned to make! :-)
The day after Thanksgiving sandwich - I think this beats out the actuall Thanksgiving dinner in my opinion!!!
Greenbean Casserole!
