I thought living in Miami I had seen it all...but a whole prom with those outfits?!

we had a few "ghetto-fabulous" people who made "appearances" with outfits like that...but not the whole prom....

intesting verrrry interesting

The thing is, I really DO sleep with a stuffed animal goat every night. I could start a message board for it.

With back to school there should be some outrageous homecoming dresses soon. I can't wait!!!

ok...was there no dress code AT ALL at this school?!?!?! That girl has on pasties!!! How was she let into the building?? There was an MTV "True Life" episode that showed kids at prom, and this one girl had a dress made, and she wanted it to look like J. Lo.'s green dress that started all that controversy. This girl was hanging out all over the place, and when she danced she would bend over really far (like hands on the ground in front of her) and MTV had to keep bluring out her boobies!! I would be mortified!!!! It's so funny to think that this where we've come from the days chaperones were putting balloons between dancers

I was thinking the same thing! I thought it was hot.

None of these peeps would have been let through the door at my HS prom.

Well, every one of the promgoers in those pictures is smiling and looking like they're having a ball. And they look like they feel good about themselves, too! So that's really what prom is about, right?

Besides, if any of those folks had access to pictures of my 1985 strapless lace overlay with pink satin underskirt complete with pouffy crinoline and dyed to match pink shoes, they'd probably be ROFL!

KillarneyRose, you just described my Gunne Sax prom dress. Gotta love the 1980's!

I wonder what Tom Earp wore to the prom? I am picturing the powder blue suit with the fringe that Tom Hanks wore in the movie BIG.

Oooh wouldn't it be great to see Tom's prom pictures? I think we should have a prom picture thread!

Am I the only person here who really wishes people would have dressed like that at their prom? It would have made things more exciting, to say the least. If our Prom Queen had been wearing pasties . . . or that Trailblazers dress . . .

I think we should start a GC Prom pictures thread. The more horrible your picture, the better.
