Cordite (hold-over from army)
Diesel (reminds me of my grandparent's old boat)
Old bar smell (a hundred or more years of booze and smoke)
Hockey rinks (small local ones)
Hockey tape
a newly opened bottle of beer (love the caps too).

OMG....how has no one mentioned MARKERS?!!? esp sharpies....those are the best....

i love basements....plastic is a good one....i also love my dog's shampoo....not enough to use it myself....but it's a good one.

and boys....some boys smell like....oohh.....just sex waiting to happen!

Oh dear, I thought I was the only one! In grade school, I'd always volunteer to help Sister Julie in faculty room.

Gasoline's awesome too...so is Windex...Pine Sol...rubber cement...and the smell of rice cooking.

There was a lady in my office who loved the smell of BURNT POPCORN. Blech.

I love the smell of an engine, especially in older cars. You can just smell the horsepower. That along with the roar just makes me want to get in teh garage and start turning wrenches

I've smelled fear..... in myself. Sittin at your house flipping out cuz I couldn't get the damn front door open!

There's something else that I like the smell of... but I reallllllly can't post that... it'd be very unclassy

That musty basement smell ( I know I'm sick)
Air conditioning like, when it comes out of the vent

And that new plastic smell you guys like??? I'm allergic to it, believe it or not. I spent the past week unwrapping plastic displays and dressing new store models.....now i have laryngitis like a bitch! I used to like it too and it almost killed me!

some weird smells I like:

*baby wipes
*paint and paint thinner
*gasoline
*cigarette smoke

*nailpolish remover
*beer
*bonfire, leaves a very strange smell on your hair and clothes but i love it!
*that weird smell you get when getting your nails done or when you're filing your nails a lot, really strange but I love it!
*nail polish
*aerosol hairspray (i had a roommate who got sick from this but i love it!)
*the smell of our sorority house, it's a mix of 100 different kinds of perfume, plus nail polish and nail polish remover, food, and some strong floor cleaner stuff that our cleaning lady uses

I am sure I have more, but I will stop before everyone starts to think I am totally strange

dang....wish we had a cleaning lady, lol......all we have is ourselves and our "chores".....man, must be nice!
