I have never worked on a colonization team, but expressing your interest in leadership is never a point against you. The new chapter needs leaders as much as it needs followers.

Wash U hasn't been decided yet in case we get any other spring colonies. The fall colonies installation dates have been set, so they have been able to assign the chapter names.

First off, good luck to you, enjoy your preference ceremony!
My advice is to abandon this user name, now.
It is considered a faux pas/disrepectful to have a reference to GLO if you are not a member.
ETA: I'd also recommend revising your first post to remove personal information!
