I haven't been to Six Flags since it changed from Geauga Lake. Does anyone know if they still have Raging Wolfbob (sp?) or the Double Loop? Those rides were WORE OUT!!! If they still have them, something is definitely wrong...

Yes, the Raging Wolfbobs is still there, shaky and all! I rode it last summer. The problem with Geauga Lake (Six Flags, whatever) is that it's too small to accommodate all the rides they want to put in there. So instead of the park growing, they tear down rides to put up new ones. But that Superman ride is OFF DA CHAINS!!!!!
Ok, I haven't been to Cedar Point in about 3 years or so. I'ma hafta go and ride these new coasters. I LOVE ROLLER COASTERS!!! I'm going to go this summer. I had no idea people travelled to go to Cedar Point. I figured it was a Ohio and Michigan thing.

They seriously need to get rid of that shaky mess!! I remember when the Double Loop used to get stuck midway through one of the loops. That's when I knew it was time to retire that one.
I haven't been to Cedar Point in a while either. Hopefully I'll have time to go this summer. I didn't know so many people travelled to Cedar Point from outside of Ohio and Michigan either. I know a couple of people from Western NY that I go to school with knew about it and I was surprised that they did.

I'm so sorry to have to bring this thread back up, but the FOX affiliate here has been running a Cedar Point Express giveaway for the last few weeks or so. They would flash the secret word during "The Simpsons" and then you would have to go to their website and e-mail them the word with your info and they would draw a winner for two tickets for the bus and the park the following day.
Guess what?? I WON!!!!!! Just when Hubby and I were trying to figure out how to scrape up the $$ for all three of us to go this summer, I got a letter from the station telling me that I had won the previous day's drawing!!! So now all we have to do is buy our son's ticket for the park and the bus and we are all set for a day at Cedar Point!!! What a blessing!!

Be Careful
I know this is a happy thread you guys, but please be careful at these parks. My cousin just recently passed away because of an accident on one of the rides at Six Flags New Orleans. Sad thing is her granson was there and will never forget it. from what the family understands the ride's operator wasn't paying enough attention and she was crushed by one of the cars.
BE CAREFUL while having a good time. small article
