If someone doesn't kiss well, I want to know right away so I don't waste my time on a second date with a drooly little Hoover.

If you dig the guy after the date, you're going to have to do something to let him know - we're not that bright, so obvious things (like kissing or oral sex) are the best.

Hell yeah! If I DONT kiss on a first date....it means there DEFINITELY wont be a second date.

Absolutely - there is no subsitute for physical contact as a sign of whether there will be a second date or not.

To go with the along with the other Kappa Sigs . . . in today's world where guys and girls can be "just friends" the kiss tells the guy that it was a date.
Then we know we are on the same page. Otherwise, its a bit of a mixed signal and we might think you view us as just a friend.

Stick your tongue down her throat.
Either she will like it or she wont. If she likes it and she plays her cards right, she might get lucky. If she doesn't like it then who cares. At least then you know where you stand and you wont have to waste anymore time, or money on her. Either way you win. The only way you lose is if you do nothing and then you will end up being the eternal nice guy that she calls whenever she has a problem with some jerk that she is having sex with.

I really suck at dating  i guess i don't do it enough (which is true since i can count on one hand the dates i've had in the last 4 years)
i had a first date last night and i really dig the guy. but no kiss, no hug, nada. (although a handshake would've been worse than nothing, IMO)
it's just i'm not much of an initiator and it was a little awkward at the end just sitting in his car...we kept talking, it seemed like he was stalling but i couldn't tell what he was thinking. if he had walked me to my door i probably would've tried something
And I thought the date went pretty well - dinner, drinks, game of pool and a walk.
oh well, lesson learned. hopefully I'll get a 2nd chance.
