I believe that there's several missing books in the bible.
Speaking of that, like Eve cursed women, I believe that some black person (or people) in the bible did something to curse this race, that hasn't be documented.

Woah!! Actually there are some (to use CT$'s expression) coughracistas$holescough who believe that the "curse of Ham" is why there are Black people on the earth and used it to justify slavery.

Confuscious said that his people turned into the yellow people( I got that on the internet so I have to find actual documentation) But look at the similarities between Asians and Africans. So these two groups grow into more races and something happens that separtates the Africans from the Asians. The Asians travel to somewhere else, climate is cold cause them to change again and you have a new group, Cacausions. I also read that Africans have a similiar dna, Asians have 90% of that same African dna, and Caucasians have 60% of the African dna and 10 % of the Asian. I am going to write a book so people can really think I am really crazy.
Hope this helps.

Haev you read the Isis Papers by Dr. Frances Cress Welsing? It's been a while for me, and I didn't finish it, but she espouses similar views.

REAAAAALLLY radical ideas of mine:
I believe GOD and RELIGION are mutually exclusive concepts
I believe that the Bible is not a real story- it's a parable, an allegory.
I believe that religion is for many people just a crutch
I believe that people WANT to think it's true because its the only thing that gives them a sense that there is some kind of order and justice in the world
I believe that Heaven does not exist
I believe that if anyone has it right it's those buddhists
I believe that religion in many traditional forms is a hypocrisy of the worst sort
I dont believe that there is some big daddy god up in heaven writing down every time that we're naughty
I dont believe that God got you a parking space so that you wouldnt be late to work this morning.
I believe that GOD as such is in us, and we show it in how we treat the people around us and how we love them
I believe that all sin starts with treating the people around us like OBJECTS
I do NOT believe in MORALS, I believe in ETHICS

Yes and its a fascinating theory that was used to rationalize slavery. Granted there is no written evidence anywhere to signify that it's true. It was just convenient.
ETA: See and I pay attention to what was posted when I write cause clearly I repeated what you already said. Right. Good on me.

Yes, I've heard of theories of Ham, I take it with a grain of salt. However, I still believe there's a curse, that hasn't been documented or is VERY well hidden in the bible, aside from the story of Ham.

Don't kill me because I said this....
I don't think it was right that the children of the people who were killed Sept. 11, received money for college when most of the people that worked in the World Trade Center have life insurance that could pay for the tuition of all of their kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren. So many big corporations gave all of their money that is usually allocated for other community needs, to the Sept. 11 fund. When I called around trying to get businesses to donate money for clothes and food for homeless kids, they basically said opps sorry we gave all our money to fund a rich kid's college education. Many non-profit agencies were shut down because of that.

I have. Frances Wellsing is the BOMB. That woman is so on point. I have seen her debate many times and her coolness and rationality always prevails.

Speaking of authority, people should NOT always respect and have fear for authority, especially out of blind obedience. Authority is corrupted! We have so many imcompetent and immoral people in leadership positions, especially people in the gov't! There are good people in authority, but I believe they are exceeded by the bad ones, so why should they be feared and respected, no matter what?

I believe prayer should be put BACK into American schools especially since this country was founded upon supposed Christian principles.
I believe atheists, agnostic believers, and those who don't believe God exists are living in ignorance.
I believe in the rapture and know in my heart of hearts that one day hundreds of thousands of people who have committed themselves to Christ will suddenly disappear causing tremendous chaos....and even then, people still will fail to acknowledge that there IS a God and blame it on aliens or some other type of "unexlpained phenomena."
And I know I'll recieve some flack for this, but I actually agree with racial profiling to an extent (and I'm black).
I believe there should be a national language and that it should be ENGLISH.
I believe foreign language studies should NOT be required in high school or college.

GREAT Thread
LovelyIvy: I agree 100%
I think there should be mandatory, yearly drivers license re-test for everone over the age of 60! You don't pass--you can't drive!
I think everyone could benefit health-wise from a vegetarian diet.
People who have their children removed their home should be sterilized.
Pedophiles should face life imprisonment on first offense.

I believe the world is going to hell in a pollitically correct hand basket. People are so concerned with not offending anyone that they are losing sight of who they are and what they believe as individuals.
I believe that a good deal of the discipline problems we see in children can be attributed to parents who are too damn lazy to raise their own kids, letting the television raise them until they're old enough to go to school and expecting the already underpaid & overworked teachers to raise them until they go off to college.
I believe that some parents are so preoccupied with not wanting to raise their kids how they were raised, abuse cases excluded, that they forget they (the parents) didn't turn out badly.
Jerry Springer, Ricky Lake, Jenny Jones and other "talk" shows that rely heavily on shock value to get ratings should have been off the air LONG ago.
Schools should stop using standardized tests as a means of promotion for grade school kids. Instead of teaching these tests, we need to go back to teaching the BASICS. Kids should know how to read at or above their grade level before they proceed to the next one (on a side note, I don't beleive in social promotion). They should know how to write a grammatically correct sentence and be able to diagram it. They should be able to divide large numbers without depending on a calculator. They should be able to confidently tell people that New Jersey is a state (not a city), Atlanta is a city (not a state), that Africa is a continent (not a country) AND they should be able to locate these and many other parts of the world correctly on a globe. And my personal favorite, they should be able to use context cues in a sentence to determine possible meanings of words in that sentence they don't know.
I believe that some school administrators use the "zero tolerance" policies as an excuse not to use the critical thinking and problem solving skills they allegedly acquired in college.

Dionysus, before you read my response to your post; Dont have your back against the wall. Be receptive to what I write, for I am challenging your opinion.
In your aforementioned view of Eve cursed women this is incorrect. If you read carefully in the book of Genesis chapter 3 beginning at verse 8 God is walking in the garden. In verse 9 God calls Adam and says " 'Adam, where art thou' "? Not Eve. God held Adam responsible for everything in the garden of Eden. From naming the animals to the emotional and physical well-being of Eve his wife.
God cursed man for their disobedience. As you read farther in the chapter; from verse 15 to end of that chapter; God goes in depth how they both will be cursed. Please read that for your own clarity.
Concerning your latter view of how you feel that someone in the bible did something to curse the black race is ridiculous.
Now I will play Devil's Advocate with this one.
If what you feel is true: then I will tell you a few people in the world who are cursed as well.
Have you ever listened to classical music? I'm quite sure you have -Being that you are a woman of panache.
Beethoven- the world-reknowned composer was a black
man. His mother was black.
Alexander Dumas- author of The Three Musketeers
a black man.
Alexander Pushkin- A Russian literary genius. May I
interject? (Black people live in other
countries besides Africa.)
Eleanor Roosevelt- wife of one of our U.S President's
paternal grandparents were black. She is also a member of
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Which is
predominately black.
The Egyptians- too often members of other persuasions
choose discredit this fact. Why do you think
the nose and other facial features from
Egyptian sculptures have been destroyed?
Particularly The Great Shinx.
What you fail to realize is that by you having this view: And, making the insensitive comment you made(wrote). Are the reasons why many black men and women for years were; degraded; lynched; assaulted; and mamed.
Dionysus, Am I going pull a jig to get you to "like" black people? or Try to change your view? No. My people fought too hard.
But, I suggest that you that you take into consideration your verbiage and not make that comment again.
