Brandy's husband didn't look like too loving to me. I don't know. Maybe I am used to the more affectionate types or something, but he looked a little more preoccupied than he should have. I mean, Brandy had traveled all the way from Cali. to NY to see him and looked less than thrilled. Maybe it was that he's not used to the cameras or the hype. Maybe I'm reading into it wrong. I'm more than sure that the rerun will air soon (it's MTV). I'll have to check it out again. To me, he looks like a jerk. But then again, Brandy looks like she can get on your LAST nerve.
The funniest part of the show was Draino. He had me CTFU! [/B]

RedefineDiva...I agree with you totally! I felt the same way. When she walked in the room, she just walked in the room. What happened to "hey boobie!"? I was shook on that part. And again...on that clip of the next episode, she looked at him really mean and told him to stop filling on her butt! She looked perturbed and he looked stupid. I never saw them acting really affectionate toward one another. He acts excited about the child, but that was it. I look forward to seeing the future episodes.

Brandy is a mom!
Brandy is a mother.
The singer gave birth to a baby girl on Sunday, according to her record label, Atlantic Records. Brandy has named her daughter Sy'rai, and both mother and daughter are said to be relaxing at home, happy and healthy.
In early February Brandy finally broke her silence and ended all speculation when she disclosed that she married producer/songwriter (and cousin to Rodney Jerkins) Robert Smith in a clandestine wedding ceremony last summer (see "Brandy Reveals Secret Marriage To Producer"). Later that month, the 23-year-old also revealed that she was expecting (see "Brandy: Married With Children").
Brandy's family life did not hinder her from going on the road for early promotion of her March 5 release, Full Moon, which has spawned two singles and two remixes.
The singer's pregnancy is chronicled in MTV's "Diary Presents Brandy: Special Delivery," which debuted on Tuesday.
For a full-length feature on Brandy, check out "Brandy: Music Is Love."

I was thinking the same thing. I just don't see any affection. I was shocked that he didn't get up and go to hug her or something when she came to the studio. He continued to mess with the keyboard thing, and all he did was just touch her stomach. Like Refined Diva maybe i'm reading too much into it.

I hate to say this you guys, but I really think that brandy and her mother has had serious problems. She didn't invite her mother to her own wedding!!! those are enough words to speak for itself. NOW SHE'S HIRED A baby mentor. WTF!!!!! I AGREE WITH EVERYONE ELSE on the forum, whatever happened to asking her grandmother, aunt, and her mom for advice!!!!! Let alone some woman that SHE DOESN'T KNOW. What happend to EH UM .... mid wives. They do that also.!!!!! and the best time for feeding your baby is, when YOUR BABY LET'S YOU KNOW, besides it will be awhile before the baby is on a "REGULAR"schedule. I understand even though she is a star she needs help too, I just want to know why the girl wouldn't seek advice from her mom.

Since none of us are a part of Brandy's immediate family or personal friend circle, I'm sure that we have no clue as to what is happening inside her family or marriage.
Everyone has their own unique relationships with their mothers. I, personally, see nothing wrong with Brandy hiring a parenting coach for herself and husband. Mothers often have their own "interpretations" on child rearing and sometimes having an unbiased third party can be very beneficial. It's the same as any new parents attending birthing and parenting classes...except Brandy has the $$$ to afford private sessions. What's wrong with that?
Some of our mothers are from that "old school" and have all these old wives tales for parenting and infant care. I'll never forget my mother-in-law told me once that if I wanted to dry up my milk supply, once I was finished completely with the breastfeeding phase, I should start a fire in the fireplace and squeeze the milk from my breast into the fire....... WTF? I'll go with some of the more "modern" techniques...thank you.

Prayerfull, OH NO!!! CTFU. I breast fed my daughter and my mom had a hard time understanding that she fed on demand (which all babies should do unless there is a medical reason not to). A lot of old wives' tales say to feed every two hours or whatever, which may not be what works for your baby, and that is what she thought. Only that mom (and dad, too) know their baby and what they want to do, and that is hard for a lot of grandmoms, aunties, big mamas to understand sometimes.
I"m sure Brandy didnt mean to exclude her mom from her wedding, but she was ready to take an adult step, and her mom got over it (I saw it on Oprah, so it MUST be true ha ha)
They have a unique relationship, so who are we to judge. My

Ultrasound
I thought it was pretty cool how she got to see her baby's face on her ultra sound. The ultrasounds of the past were all black and white blemishes...............

Where's the ring?
Okay, I've looked for the past two episodes, and maybe I'm blind or something, but I haven't seen a ring on Robert's finger yet. At first at the studio, he wasn't wearing it, but I thought maybe it gets in the way of work, but then when they were home, he still wasn't wearing one. What's up with that?

Is it just me or...
...is Brandy's mom GHETTO FAB?! This is the second show that she's done something to make me think that she's off the hinges. She kicked Brandy, Robert and the dogs out of her house. What was up with that?
AND...how is Brandy gonna break down like that about delivering in a hospital?! Can we say TRIPPED OUT?!

I would have to agree with you on that one...
I was watching the show and it was nice and all...but in my opinion, there's something a little weird about the whole thing. I started to wonder if this whole "we got married secretly last summer" thing translates to "I got pregnant by mistake so we are just going to say that we had a secret marriage prior to conception." I found it odd that her mom said that she was proud of her for not having an abortion. I mean, if she was already married and became pregnant, then abortion shouldn't have even come up as an issue at all. I don't think that she would consider abortion just because of her career.
So, not that anyone asked, but the bottom line according to me is that Brandy got knocked up and had a shotgun wedding. The timing was bad because her new album was coming out so that had to come up with a story to sugar-coat the whole thing...plain and simple.

That is exactly what I was thinking too. Nothing wrong with doing that though, but still....
