But there is southener and then there is white trash inbreeder. You know the difference. I don't care if you trash talk, but when people say "you shouldn't talk bad about other people." and then"by the way your a POS." That makes me PO'd. I can understand people's viewpoints on here but man some responses are riduculous. It's all good though.
Lil G...the overview of my workout is about 4-6 hours a day depending on what day it is.
on MWF morning's im in the gym doing upper body and back for about 2 hours. Then i rest for a bit and then either run(3-9 miles depending on what I need to do) or swim at the pool for about an hour. Tuesday and thursday I bike about 20-30 miles and then do legs at the gym. Saturday I run and sunday is my day of rest. Once a month i'll bike 50 miles..although i usually wait till the end and it rains when i try to get out so i just have to do stationary. I mix it up though cause if you do the same thing all the time your body gets bored. I really don't take supplements except creatine for 2 months every 6-8 months. I take some vitamens that have high iron and magnesium content...iron helps bind O2 to your hemaglobin and magnesium for muscle contraction. I have time to do all this now but im sure when i gradumicate next year I won't nearly have enough time. You should try doing it for at least 6 months..its super hard at first but once you break into month 3 its a great feeling for your mind and body. Girls have to take more calcium and iron cause of amenorrehha but its great.

Am I the only one who doesn't care about this? Just curious.

MAY I ADD that PLEASE do not e-mail me if you're not legit (READ: if you are indeed Ms. V herself ). I've gotten some fishy e-mails...

Otherwise, Greekchatters, feel free to email me about the 'V'.

P.S. Fly-a-kite, I'll e-mail you .

UNFSig,

You work the same body parts three times a week? And are you in the gym for 2 hours each time? That is a little excessive -- you should only work a muscle group once a week, otherwise you are overtraining and give your muscles no time to build up.

UNFSigmaChi,
Wow that's a poster-boy routine for Men's Health, what's your body fat %?

I go every day for about 2 - 2 1/2 hours.

Day 1 - shoulders and arms - I have 13 exercises for this day right now, I start off heavy with fewer reps (3 sets), then drop the weight to a medium setting with 4 sets 8-10 reps and finish off at a low weight with 4 sets 10-12 reps.

Day 2 - all ab exercises, 9 in total - finish off with a 30 minute run on the treadmill.

Day 3 - cardio: 25 mins. elipitical, 30 mins treadmill, 20 mins bike. I usually do a few ab exercises to prevents stiches and cramps. Preacher bar twist and side bend are both great for this.

Day 4 Legs - This is where my rountine falls short. I only have 8 leg exercises - all machines.

Day 5 - Chest & Back - A little different than arms and shoulders, I try max out every body part with the most-common (best exercises), e.g. lat pull-down, dead man's lift, etc.

Day 6 - Abs again
Day 7 - Cardio again.

I try to space out arms/shoulders and chest/back as much as possible because there's "muscle overlap" for certain exercises. The cardio-abs also function as my rest days. For supplements: I think i'm hooked on Hydroxycuts, and I take 1 scoop and a half a day of ProLab Whey.
Hey ever heard of CellTech?

Being a farm child, I guess the good Lord has blessed me with a healthy body from working every day of my life. Bucking 100+ pound hay bales in 90 degree weather for 10 and 12 hour s a day has an affect on your entire body. I dont think with the amount of time I spent in the gym while playing sports in H.S. and at school now comes anywhere near the definition and just plain outright brute strength to my body that farming did. Now that I am getting older here is the ol workout routine.

Day 1. Go to work. Stop by farm on way home. Work till dark. Go home, drink beer.

Day 2. Go to work. Stop by farm on way home. Work till dark. Go home, drink beer.

Day 3. Go to work. Stop by farm on way home. Work till dark. Go home, drink beer.

Day 4. Go to work. Stop by farm on way home. Work till dark. Go home, drink beer.

Day 5. Go to work. Go to work at bar. Go home, drink beer.

Day 6. Farm all day, work at bar at night, go home, drink beer.

Day 7. Rest. Beer.

My dietery supplements? Any thing edible in the refrigerator, and beer.
