Think (slightly) upscale Marshalls or TJ Maxx, and you have Kohls.
They also have small kitchen appliances, etc., bedding, towels and other household decorative items.

Add in slightly upscale Target...and you got it! I have one right by my house here in Ohio!!

i dont really like khols. think of it as an upscale kmart. quite honestly i prefer target over khols (i love target). khols is similar to belks, but belks is nicer then khols, but light years worse then perisians. so i guess on a scale it goes-
kmart - khols - belk- perisians (and in my opinion ----- TARGET!!!!!!!

I don't shop at Kohl's but the one time I did go with my mom, I noticed that they had a lot of nice Christmas ornaments.

Ok I have a question and maybe I'm an idiot but I've never heard of a Walmart distruction center? Is it a supercenter or something?

It's a shame most people don't know the ins and outs about the "Walmart world."

If you say Walmart in front of my Urban Geography professor, he'll have a heart attack.

Many people are against Walmart because of what they've done to small -town businesses. They sold their products at a smaller price, so people would go to Walmart instead of the neighborhood store. That in turn put those stores out of business.

Now, the people who owned those stores and worked there, made a good amount of money. After their stores closed, some had to work at Walmart because it was pretty much the only business left. Walmart pays these employees not even close to what they were making at the neighborhood stores.

Ok I kinda summarized everything we learned about Walmart, but I have a whole handout about the negatives about Walmart stores.
