Puke as much as you need to, but I LOVE ME SUM CHIT'LIN'S!!! My mom fed 'em to us when we were babies, 'cuz they're easy for a baby to eat. I acquired a taste and smell for 'em long before I knew what they were, and I'd give anything to have a plate full right now (with ketchup and Red Hot)! To all of you who hate 'em-- FINE! That just means mo' for me!

Basically, PORK is my best friend--I love ALL parts, including the ears, feet, and SOUSE (with crackers). That's the po' Mississippi kid in me, I guess--we couldn't afford to let anything go to waste where I grew up! Don't even get me started on DEER MEAT! Someone pass me a Kleenex--I'm tearin' up!

The only foods I really CAN'T get with are:
1. Squash
2. Liver
3. Boiled Okra
4. Squirrel
5. Rabbit

(Believe it or not, my family threw down on numbers 4 and 5--now that's where even I have to draw the line!)

Oh yeah-- I can't stand beer either. The smell of it alone makes me wanna spew chunks! I won't even kiss a man whose been drinking beer. Now, liquor-- well that's a different story, especially if we're talkin' 'bout TEQUILA!!!

some beer is good if it is cold, i like most parts of the pig, fruit cocktail; rabbit aint too bad (but, i eat 'coon and 'gator too), spinach, egg nog, eggs period; i like my okra fried, some ramen noodles (can't fade the shrimp flavor) and candy corn...and a lot of other stuff ya'll mentioned.

but, i can't bring myself to ingest bologna, mayonaisse (that junk looks nasty), squash, spam, potted meat, vienna sausages, liver, turnips, black-eyed peas (i will only eat a spoonful on new year's), beets, asparCHIT, lima beans, pickeled anything (except cucumbers), and some nasty azz cookies my daddy bought a couple of days ago called "crackin good Christmas cookies"

and, ya'll, i tried to make myself eat some sh*tlins last Christmas, and while i was waiting on my uncle to finish cooking them, i got TOTALLY out the notion.

and, i have a lima bean story: my dad had made some for dinner once when i was younger. i had never ate them but i remember punky brewster talking about they were nasty, so me and my sister didn't want any. he hollered at us and told us that we HAD to eat them. well, a few minutes later, he came back into the kitchen looking like he was about to throw up and said "i'm sorry; ya'll don't have to eat those beans. they are too nasty!" and we haven't had them since!

Girl, you sound like me, lol. My family used to have rabbit A LOT, my grandfather loved it!! Only had squirrel once, couldn't hack it, I don't understand why we would try and eat something so little anyway. And WHY was I talking about souse meat with my boyfriend the other day, he doesn't know what it is!!! I was talkin' about how the people down the street from me would make it homemade and it would be gray, but taste JUST as good as the pink souse meat in the store. I've been nostalgic lately. I'm glad someone can relate!!!!!

The next time I make some chit'lins, I'll let you know! No ketchup, though, just hot sauce, lol, where you get that from? All yall eat 'em with ketchup?

Awww, and I can't believe y'all don't like spinach! I have made GROWN MEN WEAK with my spinach dip, and will make a spinach quiche that'll make you say, "I'm strong to the finnn-ich" (get it, like Popeye, LOL). Try that spinach next time you go to Boston Market - and the squash casserole too if they have it...you'll be pleasantly surprised (watch out for those calories tho!!). OH, I also got an eggplant parmigian recipe that'll make slap ya grandma! And squash, brussel sprouts, and asparagus too. Loves me some veggies. And cantaloupe...but hate fruit cocktail - the hairy grape was always disgusting to me, and I hate marachino cherries too (put lemon or an umbrella in my drink, LOL).

...and u know a sista got a couple of packs of ramen noodles in the cabinet!! Oriental flavor is my favorite, LOL.

My ALL TIME MOST HATED, NASTIEST FOOD, EVER EVER EVER is...
ENGLISH PEAS!!!! Sweet peas - the green ones in the can. I HATE EM HATE EM HATE EM! When I was a kid, my dad made you eat the number of peas that equaled your age - I remember being 8 years old and having 8 PEAS on my plate and wondering how in the WORLD I was going to get them down!! THEY'RE DIGUSTING!!

I also hate the majority of beans and other peas. Lima beans, butter beans, black eyed peas, YUCK YUCK, and double YUCK. Kidney beans can go straight to he double hockey sticks, along with refried beans. I will however eat baked beans (guess it's the sweetness or being at a cookout, I don't know - the beer AT the cookout??), and may mess with some black beans (guess it's the scenario of a mexican restaurant...or the tequila maybe?). I'll also eat green beans. I like pea PODS in chinese food, but if the pea is still in them...no way.

No you didn't go there with the Pringles and Combos!!!! I love me some Pringles and Combos, although I prefer the Pringles. But I'd have to say that I can't stand pork skins! Yuck!!! #1 Leading Lady, I'm not too fond of sunflower seeds or cornnuts either, although I used to inhale me some sunflower seeds back in the day! And delph998, I can't see why you don't like squash but you like chit'lins! And the only beer-like beverage I've ever tried is Smirnoff Ice, and it tasted like lemonade after awhile. But I'd have to agree with you on liking greens. I've never tasted catfish before and now I know I need to try some (okay you guys can stop laughing now ).

i know i may be a rude guest, but i do NOT eat pork!! regardless of where i am! i have politely said "no, thank you" once the offer is made! then again, by time i make it to anyone's home to eat, they know my eating habits (even my white co-workers ) not that i run around making broadcast, but if you eat around me long enough you will notice a distinct pattern (chicken, chicken, fish, chicken, red meat, chicken, chicken...)
