I have an Android phone (MyTouch slide, yay TMo peeps) and I loove it. My mom has the BB Torch, and I can honestly say i'm soo glad I don't have a BB.

Is it just me or is anyone else confused when people say "Droid" in this thread? I'm ASSuming most are saying "Droid" instead of typing out Android, but when I see that word I only think of the Motorola Droid (the Verizon phone).

I have the Motorola Droid, Verizon phone. People are tending to use "Droid" to refer to any phone with the Google created Android operating system. There are some phones with Droid in the name, like the Droid Incredible, Motorola Droid and Droid X. Otherwise, it's like saying Kleenex or Xerox instead of tissues and photocopying.

^^^I always thought "Droid" was a nickname for "Android." That's why I say it

Not sure where else to put this, but...

Does anyone know of any TV Guide/Listing apps for Blackberry? It looks like the official TVGuide release was discontinued and I don't feel like scrolling through the web listings.

I had the BB Curve for 2 years - worst phone ever. So glad I switched to the iPhone.

I just got a Droid which is full of awesome! Depends which kind you get, though. Samsung is way better than Sony which I know because I exchanged so many times.

I started off with a Windows Phone against the advice of GC. Sorry guys, I should've listened. It was a great phone but the operating system was so new it did almost nothing. So I swapped for a Droid by Sony which had a better system but the phone sucked. The screen had a low resolution, the camera was poor quality, and the touchscreen was inaccurate. It highlighted whatever was to the left of the spot I touched with made texting almost impossible. So I swapped with another Droid, this time from Samsung and I couldn't be happier.

That was 3 phones in 2 weeks. The man at the AT&T store even waived my re-stocking fee on the condition I wouldn't exchange again.

33girl, you still have a RazR?! OMG, I'm peeing my pants!! I have a Droid for personal use and a BB for work. We almost switched to AT&T to get IPhones, but we got Droids instead, and I'm so glad!

Eh. I refuse to pay what data plans cost, so no smart phones here. Besides, surfing the net on an iPhone has no allure for me. And I have done it.

^^^
I'm interested in this question as well.

I can upgrade at the beginning of March, and well... I have no freaking clue what to do. This is the first time in the history of ever that there hasn't been a phone that stood out to me.

I've always wanted an iPhone and now that it's here... I think I might want to go with a Droid Pro or Droid Incredible. The X is too big for me (and my mom has it...)

I'm a big fan of Google recently, which leads me to the Droid, but I'm also an Apple person through and through.

This may be the first time that I don't upgrade right away...

AGDLynn, some BB ones are the same as Droid ones, i think it's a Verizon thing maybe? My Droid2 is the same as my Nook, is the same as my coworker's old BB. But no promises. You can always get cheap chargers on the internet.

My daughter is using her Nook charger for her original Droid. It has the slide out keyboard as well (referring to your other post).

I had picked up a generic USB car charger and I can plug my Droid into that in the car. It works for my Ipod too... it works for anything that has a USB cable that can charge too so I imagine if I ever get a Nook, it will work for that as well.

I had no idea that the Driod2 and Nook charger worked on each other, that's amazing to know! Thank you so much!

The boyfriends BB Curve from Verizon (the new one with the trackpad) and my Driod 2 are the same. The iPhone has it's own charger that isn't compatible at all with any non-Apple products.
