That's possibly what I look like, just minus all the make up lol. No my horse fell down in the trailer and I just stood there holding the other two crying and pacing and panicking. It was one of the scariest moments of my life lol

Um, no.. Assuming I strolled along and found a person and my dog (or any animal for that matter) tied to some train tracks with a train quickly approaching them, and I only had time to save one, I can safely say I'd save the stranger.
Could you seriously stumble upon that situation, untie your dog, then look the person in the eye and say, "Sorry..."? If so, I must say.. IMO, that's pretty screwed up.

I mean in all reality no probably not. (Unless as mentioned before said stranger was a murderer or something, in which case I would totally save the dog) But until I'm in that situation I really can't say. I would probably try to save both. I couldn't untie the stranger and look my dog in the eye be like "sorry dude." I would still go back and try to save him/her too, even if in the hypothetical I would be unsuccessful. If I'm in the situation I may panic in which case I would save no one. I could also be unsuccessful in trying to save either. I really don't know as there's not enough information. (ie if I have to carry a 400lb man off the tracks he'll probably have a very slim chance of survival as I'm not very strong).

Save the stranger. I don't have a dog.

The very idea of my parents doing the horizontal lambada turns my stomach. I know intellectually they must have done it at least once, otherwise I wouldn't exist. Still, ewww. So I'd rather watch a porno with my parents - with a stopwatch in hand, to time how long it takes them to flee the room. My guess is they'd be gone before the well-hung pizza delivery man could even ring the doorbell.

I don't react well to emergencies. I would probably just stand there in shock as both get run over.
Example: I almost started a fire in the kitchen at my dad's once (I was like 17). I was talking/not paying attention and I put a paper plate next to the burner (gas).
This paper plate is sitting there on fire and I'm just standing there saying "oh my god" repeatedly.
My dad saw the smoke, ran in, and threw the plate in the sink (while saying "@#@#@#%$% why are you STANDING HERE when there is a FIRE BURNING?!")

Let the dog and the stranger fend for themselves.

k_s is really me, trapped in his body. which, i imagine is awesome^2.
its a really silly scenario, and im a libra, so if i believed that astrological signs really affected character traits (Sheldon, anyone?), id just grab each of them by the hand and mosey off into the sunset.
but really, theyre BOTH stuch on tracks and I just HAPPEN to be there? if i save one, surely someone else will think "OMGWTFBBQ save that man/dog!" and save the other one.

The problem is that the hypothetical is not likely to happen. A fire, now that would be more likely... stuck on train tracks? How do you even get stuck on train tracks?

**NEW QUESTION**
So someone you have been working hard to date finally becomes available, you also find out that your best friend has one ticket to a once in a lifetime concert event of your favorite artist that's on the same night and time as your date. Which do you choose?
...this one is a little more realistic.
Enjoy
BTW...I would save my dog.

I'm assuming I've already scheduled the date?
If so, the date wins. I don't like to cancel things that I initiated.

I would save my dog, watch a porn WITH my parents, and I would go on the date.

I have to laugh at how analytical GCers are. It took me everything to just answer the question without adding anything to the hypothetical. Afterall, are we going to get to interview the person before we save him/her? "Why are you on the tracks?" "Are you a pedophile?" "Do you have children?"
|
LOL what the fuck is your signature? That sentence never even made any sense!
