The most I ever get is some young Mormons, or the occassional Jehova's witness. The JW I see maybe a handful of times a year, and he's a sweet old man who just hands me a copy of The Watchtower, wishes me a good day, and goes on to the next house. The young Morman men I see once or twice a month in my neighborhood. While they've never been rude to me, they are persistant. If my dogs are in the backyard though, they don't bother coming up my driveway... apparently a giant german shepherd and a giant mastiff are enough to keep people away! We get the occassional evangelical christian in the summers too, handing out fliers advertising bible school for the kids and day-long revivals for the adults. They tend to be the pushiest... I tell them I'm Catholic, and they consider me a challenge or something. Rarely do things get rude... but my husband can bring that out of people (rolling my eyes).

People who preach in public places such as courtyards aside, I think I have only been personally confronted by Jehovah's Witnesses. Maybe the other groups were easily forgotten.
But, this may offend some folks, I generally can't stand Jehovah's Witnesses. We have enough religion being shoved in our faces without people coming to our homes. When I say "no thank you, but Jesus definitively saves (as far as my family and I are concerned). God bless and thanks for the magazine," that usually gets them to move on. But, there have been a few who won't move on. This is when I ask the Lord to forgive me as I get mean and damn near cuss someone out. No, we do NOT want to talk you. No, you can NOT find out our schedules and children's schedules so you can plan visits to follow-up and "check on us."
Woosah.

Then there are the lazy Jehovah Witnesses who try to get you while they sit in their parked cars...

DrPhil, when I was a baby I threw up on two Jehovah's Witnesses who came to my parents' door. I don't think any ever came back. Perhaps you should try that approach. ;-)
