1. Stubborn as a Mule
I am set in my ways and sometimes I know that I am just being stubborn. I like things the way that I like them and when it comes to my stuff, I am not willing to change. Sometimes I can be a little bossy.

2. Pre-Judging
I admit that I prejudge people based on their appearance, not racially, but more by how they wear their hair and clothing. If someone doesn't necessarily carry themselves in the same manner as I do, I won't give them a chance. I don't even want to get to know them. I figure that people who have similar goals and ambitions to mine will act similar to the way that I do. But then again, I know that there are times when others would look at me and not expect me to be the type of person that I am.

3. Smart @$$ Mouth
As a teenager, I got popped in the mouth by my mother on several occasions. I have a quick wit and I can come back at someone before they can blink an eye. The worst part is that sometimes people will be messing with me or getting on my nerves and I'll say something that'll just hurt their poor little feelings. Not anything really mean, but just something that they weren't expecting.

As far as the physical aspect, I don't believe that I have any flaws. God made and shaped my body the way that he wanted it and I don't see anything wrong with it. Their are places that He shaped well and I let go, but I wouldn't go so far as to call them flaws.

We must be sisters because I am so stubborn that my boyfriend is going crazy. I am so stubborn it is rediculous.

Oh but I love my sarcastic ways. To be sarcastic you must have intellect and trust me I have alot of it. When you come around me please be prepared to engage in an intelligent convo because I am very sarcastic.

My temper

When I am mad there is no way to calm me. I can be very hotheaded when I wanna be. I guess thats the libra in me. You know we don't play any games

2. Often BRUTALLY honest.. I could stand a little tact

4. Not easily forgiving.. once you get on my bad side, it is almost impossible to cross back over

1. Insecure: I know that I am a beautiful person inside and out (not to sound conskeeted or anything

), but there are certain times when I'm a little insecure about myself. I know I have some suppressed issues about having dark complexion. Don't get me wrong...I love my skin color but when I'm around women who are lighter than I am, I feel invisible.

2. Blowing things out of proportion: Not to say I make a big deal of out little things but when things just don't go right (ie: being late, which I absolutley hate or getting lost) I have a tendency to get frustrated. I'm learning to deal with this.

3. Judgemental: I have very high expectations for myself and I have a tendency to feel bad if I make a bad decision or do something that I know other's would look down upon.

4. I think I know everything: I need to learn to shut up

5. Sarcastic

6. feeling sorry for myself

7. Comparing myself to others: If I didn't do this, half of my issues would be resolved

Well, let's see....

- Being able to remember events up the the minute it occured (ie I don't say "Last summer I did this....", I say "I did this on Monday, July 22, 1982 at around 8:45 am. The temperature was a comfortable 62 degrees with a 20% chance of precipitation...")

- Being obsessed with certain topics (game shows, Transformers, MST3K, Three Stooges, etc).

- Speaking very candidly. Howard Stern would love me.

- Being a tightwad and a cheapskate. The former I am taking care of by tithing regularly, the latter, well as far as personal relationships go, if I really like or love you a lot, I actually will spend a lot of money on you. That's a fact.

- Not knowing how to cook. The microwave and the toaster oven is my cookware. I am a true bachelor. True bachelors don't cook.

- Spending too much time alone. I am trying to get out and socialize more.

- Dancing like a white guy. Some of the GCers who know me can vouch for this.

- Not dressing my age. I have been told that I dress like a 40-something year-old man, ie charcoal brown or forest green "civil rights" suits (thin lapel, 3 button suits with small collars on my shirts and thin ties--something that MLK would have worn). or weaing V-necked sweater vests over golf shirts with khaki shorts (looking like an overaged black Doug Funnie). One girl I dated said that I dressed straight out of the 80s.

Anyway, I have more for you later.

1. stubborn (taurus).. if I “think” I know something I will argue til I die. Don’t bother to ask me to see your side… I’m too caught up telling you my opinions to listen. Believe it or not, I’m getting better. I can actually say when I’m wrong now however still with the smart a$$ look on my face (working on that too).

2. I’m always on some freaking diet. I get on the scale every day and then commence to lie to myself about what I’m not gonna eating today. It only takes 3-4 hrs before I’m eating cake or some snack from the machine. Why?

3a. I need anger management. I’m cool and laid back til I get pissed off. I can only compare it to a pressure cooker with no release valve. I’ve gotten much better but still have a ways to go though.

3b. It takes a lot to get to my "anger" breaking point. But when I get there with you, don’t even think that we’ll ever get back tight or anything close to the way we use to be. Unfortunately I know that I’ve mismanaged some friendships(and relationships) because I’ve never put people in their place til it’s too late and then have the nerve to blame it all on them. I’ve come to realize (I guess with age) that I’m part of the problem too. There is such a thing as nipping in the bud.

Thanks to all you ladies and gents for giving me the courage to post on this topic. I know my flaws but it's something quite different to talk about them... feels good to let this all out.

I think, I am too blunt at times, and the way i communicate it comes across as being mean. *my bad*
I take too long to give an answer when an impatient person wants one right then. *hey i have to think about it* Brash decisions can cause alot of trouble.
and bringing up situations from waaaaaaaaaaay back in the day, to prove a valid point for today.

YEAH i keep it bottled up in side, Only because I'm marinating on it.LMAO

I hate to disagree with you, because, I do believe that there is a such thing as nipping things in the bud.
Stopping it before it starts, or if it's already started, stop it before it gets worse.(which is generally the main source of the problem*the bud*)

Hey.. what's up Strobelite?... I think you may have misunderstood what i was saying. Gurl, i had to learn the hard way about stopping chyt before it gets out of hand. And to realize that folks will take advantage if you let them. But enough of that... (i'm acutally having a good morning.. wearing the f-me pumps again.

Hit me with the Bermuda info... i need full details!
