I am soooooo happy the snooty rich girl got bumped. If I had a dollar for every time she mentioned her trust fund, I'd be that wealthy too.

DITTO. I knew they were going to get rid of her and the pierced girl when they showed them sitting there in the breakfast room saying they weren't going to get cut.

I love Naduah, Raina and Simone. Oh, and Alexandra - especially since she's a Kappa! I hope she mentions it on the show. When Simone said she was a DG I got really excited

So far, though, this cycle is pretty blah. The myspace/whatever thing at the beginning was dumb, and it seemed really weird that they cut it right when they did. Also, wth was up with "Ren"? That was so random. Seemed like some sort of shady dealings to me. They did something similar last cycle when they got rid of that Jesus freak girl and brought on the other one once they got to NYC, but this just seemed really weird.

I'll probably watch because I always watch, but this one just isn't too exciting to me. Same formula, same girls crying at makeovers, same girls fighting in the house. And if they don't get rid of Angelea soon... ugh. Girl looks like a man in a wig anyway.

Not a huge fan of Simone. I knew what she was saying about not fitting in with other black women but it just didn't come out very well. I think she might be another Kelly from C3.

I love Alexandra! Alaysia (sp?) will def be entertainment, but Angelea and Krista need to GO. Last night reminded me of C3 when the entire house got into a fight (the thing that started with Amanda bumping Eva, then everyone else jumped in). I like the biracial girl but not her blond, curly "wood nymph" makeover.

And I actually like Brenda's haircut. It was drastic, but it fits her and it is trendy/fringy/whathaveyou. It'll take her far if she can figure out how to work it to her advantage.

Any bets that someone will wig out and quit this cycle?

I keep thinking that same thing - except I think Raina doesn't look as (for lack of a better word) slutty. And her picture this week was CRAZY good.

So far I like Raina, Jessica, Simone, Brenda, and Alexandra. I'm glad Naduah was booted, and I'm really REALLY hoping Alasia gets booted next. Waaaay too much drama. Also wouldn't be sad to see Ren go. She would be an amazing model, but I don't think she really wants it.

Ugh! What is Angelea's deal? She's not even attractive! She can go already! She's definitely not model material, she looks boney and awkwardand speaks like a man. Her language skils are poor. Everything about her is horrible.

Why are there three girls having an argument about who is fake? Why would anyone get into a fight because they believe someone is fake? Just don't talk to each other!

Nadua claims that she has modeled before, but don't most models know that it's a big no-no to mess with/change your make-up after the person does it?

The company is paying you to look the way THEY want you to look.

Ren is whiny. She whined about every aspect of the photoshoot and being in the house.

I was happy to see Nadua go. I really want Angelea and Alayshia (or whatever her name is) to go as well.

I like Jessica and of course Simone because she's a DG

No one really sticks out for me though. Felt bad for Alexandra on the runway!

What do you guys think about the new judge?

^^^Aaaaaagggghhh I shouldn't have come in here. The show's not over yet for me. You broke the cardinal rule of the time difference!!!

ETA: Okay, it's over. Yeah, MAJOR faux paux changing her makeover. I really want Alexandra to come out on top next episode, I like her! And I just noticed something--we were talking last cycle about how each winner represents another minority and there hasn't been an Asian winner yet. There's not even an Asian contestant this cycle, is there?

And Alaysia, honey....you can't be saved talking like that on national tv. Just take it down a few notches.

When Naduah started telling all those crazy stories, I thought Tyra would probably cut her, even if she had a good picture. Tyra likes the drama on her show, but I don't think she'd put up with a pathological liar. Simone looks like Kerry Washington to me, and I also love Raina.

Why does everyone assume Naduah was lying? I don't know a lot about cults so IDK. But I went to school with one girl who had been in one and she had some crazy stories. She didn't like to talk about her time in the cult (I think she was a little traumatized to be honest) but every now and again, she'd tell us something and it would be totally off the wall. So the stuff Naduah was saying sounded believable (though I do admit I missed some of the episode so, if there was something way out in left field, I may not have heard it).

In the last episode when they were getting one of the Tyra Mails, Simone was wearing a tank top with a huge anchor on it

I though Naduah was really cool looking, and I was impressed with all that's she's overcome after the cult, but I was pretty sure her modeling stories were bogus. When she said Playboy asked her to pose for them and she turned them down, that sent up a red flag. She is not Playboy material at all. That may or may not be a compliment.

^^Given the ANTM demographic, that photo shoot was very "now" with a few notches knocked off the cheese factor. Thought it did look a bit like a romance novel cover shoot minus lingerie.

Holy fake-outs, Tyra! Based on the final comments, I did NOT expect elimination to go that way.

ETA: And WTH at "drekkitude." (however you spell it!)

Ren needed to go. She obviously didn't want to be there (I recall her saying something like "modeling is my mom's dream for me.")

It sucks a little because her spot on the show could've gone to someone who wanted it.

And really, there is hostility in all areas of the modeling industry. Not just Top Model.

I believe Katarzhyna from C10 was in a sorority at Cornell (not sure which one), and Lauren Brie from C11 is an ASA. I think there are probably more Greeks, they just don't mention it or wear symbols.
