Delt, Don't know how anyone can say it was a fluke.....Nebraska is a good team. If we hadn't missed two field goals and an extra point.....that Nebraska score at the end of a game wouldn't have mattered. That was also our first game out of the State.....and we were playing at a tough stadium, in a blizzard. That was the most impressive game that our defense has played this year.

Kstar, overrated????? Please explain that to me. Texas Tech was overrated this season. Penn State was overrated this season. Notre Dame was probobly overrated this season. USC is insanely overrated this season. Texas, is not overrated. I'd really like to know how you come to that conclusion.

Not disagreeing, just chuckling at this comment. Blizzard, huh?

Ok, well, maybe not a blizzard.......but it looked like it was coming down pretty good. Either way, it was a complete 180 from playing in the sun in 72 degree weather.

I didn't think Nebraska was that far along in rebuilding yet.

And, if you want to see a blizzard...

Well, let's just say that the weather in Lincoln looked more like flurries. Tough stadium is right, though, for sure. Been there in real blizzards.

Well, I talked to Tim Crowder and Aaron Ross.......and they said they couldn't see anything hardly on the field.........so I was going by that and how it looked on TV.

The game still wasn't a "fluke" either way.

Haha, the blizzard comment made me laugh too b/c my dad described it to me as "a few light flurries" (he and mom were down in Lincoln for the game)and now there is no snow even left on the ground in Lincoln or Omaha. I wish I had gotten to actually watch the game but since I was down at Mizzou for homecoming (yay Tigers!) watching us whip K-State's ass, I had to miss it. Cannot WAIT for the Nebraska-Mizzou game this year; that's a game that I am always happy with the outcome, though I do get a teensy bit more excited when Mizzou wins since it's my alma mater.

Four football fans climb a mountain: A Tennessee fan, an Alabama fan, an Auburn fan and a Georgia fan. They argued all the way up the mountain about who was the most "die hard fan". When they reached the top, the UT fan proclaimed to the other three, "This is for the Vols!" and threw himself off the mountain as a sacrifice, screaming "Rocky Top" as he fell to his death. Not to be outdone by the Tennessee fan, the Alabama fan jumped up and shouted, "Roll Tide" and threw himself off the mountain yelling, "Roll Tide Roll" as he fell to his death. Refusing to be outdone by UT and Alabama fans, the Georgia fan jumped to his feet and yelled, "THIS IS FOR THE DAWGS!" and without any hesitation pushed the Auburn fan off the mountain shouting, "Fly now, you DAMN War Eagle!

Then he went and got a Gator!

Ahhhhh yes. Finally, USC's overrated ass gets exploited. Get ready, because yall are going to lose to Cal and Notre Dame too.

Steve Smith is really, really good though. Almost 300 yards receiving. The number of times a receiver has had a day like that in a losing effort could probably be counted on one hand.

I agree. This is a good thing.

Nebraska's overrated ass was also exploited today -- yet another good thing.

Overall, I'd have to say it was a pretty good Saturday.
