I think there's too much assumption that if Harry Dies, Voldemort will live, and vice versa.
Remeber, there is still Neville and the fact that maybe Voldermort made a mistake. So really, both Harry and Voldy could die and the prophecy can still come true.

No, I don't think that's in the cards. Rolwing has pretty much scuttled any such idea.
I can't seem to copy it here (there must be a cyber charm on her website), but it is worth going to Rowling's website. Click on the paper clips that form a ? when the curser moves over them (for "F.A.Q."), then click on the envelope that says "About the books," the scroll down to this question: "What is the significance of Neville being the other boy to whom the prophecy might have referred?"
I still stand by my prediction: Voldemort will be vanquished (c'mon, does anyone really think that after all this, evil will triumph over good?) and Harry will stay on at Hogwarts as the new (and long-time) Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher.

My local cineplex added an IMAX theater to their 30 screens. I am so seeing Goblet Of Fire on the IMAX. I will buy my tickets in advance the first day they are available. I cannot wait for this. Anybody else going to see it on IMAX?

When does it come out? Goblet of Fire was my favorite HP book, but I'm a little skeptical about the movie because I really didn't like the third one as much as the other two.

Wow, someone who thinks the way I do! Haha. I also think that there is no way that Voldemort made a mistake. I don't remember the exact wording, but I remember Dumbledore saying something about how when Voldemort went after Harry, he made Harry the one that the profecy was about. Something like that.
Anyway, I also think that Harry will be the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher after he finishes at Hogwarts. In book 5, he just became such a natural teacher!
Also, I don't think that Harry will die because, come on no matter how many adults love this series, it IS still a childrens book. I just don't see that happening in a book meant for young people. (and yes, I realize that other characters have and will die, but I stick to my opinion.)

I believe it comes out November 18th. You might check mugglenet or Leaky Cauldron or IMDB for exact date.
Yes, I am sure much will be cut to be able to fit it into a two or three hour time frame but after seeing the little teaaser trailer,I can't wait to see the dragons on the IMAX.

I saw the last one in IMAX after it was released for a few weeks or so. I plan on seeing this one the same way again

Since Petunia is his mother's only living relative, it's important that he goes to Privet Drive at least once a year and calls it "home," because for as long as he does that, Voldemort can't hurt him.

Who said anything about casting him out? Harry's so fool-hardy, he may leave them for good and risk the danger. Harry has often risked his life (and his parents' sacrifice) for a good adventure or a chance to get away from the Dursleys. I think he might be so giddy over the possibility of being free, he might just pack up and go (and Ron would probably encourage him, they might live together).

JKR mentioned something about his summer with the Dursleys being cut short in book 6. None of us know why but I'm sure we'll all find out in 22 days time. (Yes, I'm counting...)
But I think after Dumbledore's talk in book 5 about being safer at the Dursleys during breaks may talk some sense into him. Doesn't mean he won't have any adventures when he's in school because all the Hogwarts staff can supervise to some degree.
I'm still curious about what happened with the Weasley twins. Like if they opened their own joke shop after all. Or if we'll get some sort of follow up.

I thought that in Book 5 it mentioned that Fred and George opened up the joke shop with the money that Harry gave them.

I think Fred and George did open up a joke shop, but I also might be getting my fac fic mixed up, since I do plan on re-reading the books again (even CoS) in prep for the July 16 release.
I do remember them opening up a mail order business.....

Like chideltjen's quote says, "I don't go looking for trouble, trouble usually find me". I don't think Harry goes off looking for for adventure. i think harry would be perfectly happy to spend the summer's at the Dursley's if they treated him better. I think Harry wants to feel safe, but he doesn't at the Dursley's, so he ;eaves to try and find somewhere better. He's not out looking to cause mischief.

I wonder if you read the same Fan Fic I did... Because the twin's joke shop was in the series I read.
I do remember them vaguely doing some sort of mail order, but nothing after they terrorized Umbridge and left the school.
