Lost - Page 28

I only got into Lost about a month ago (so I am only reading this thread up to the end of the first season

- I have been trying to avoid it, but like the show, it is addicting).

My husband and I bought season 1 and finished it off in just over a week. Now is a very hard time as I have to keep myself occupied for that hour on Wednesdays when Lost is on, so I don't watch the second season.

As soon as this season is released on DVD, I will be the first person in the line-up at HMV to get my copy and get all caught up for season three

.

On a side note: Evangeline Lilley looks so familiar to me, as if I actually know her from somewhere. I know this is her first tv/film appearance. But I found out that she attended UBC around the same time as I did and she was studying IR and I was in Hist/PoliSci - lots of those courses overlap. So I am pretty sure I either saw her around campus or actually had a few classes with her.

Yes, although it is not 100% confirmed, that girl should be Rousseau's daughter. Alex (who we now know is a GIRL named Alexandra) was taken from Rousseau about 16 years ago. That dark haired girl looked to be around that age (I thought she looked OLDER actually but whatever).

anyhow, she was "good" and helped Claire escape, so we can more or less assume that she is Rousseau's abducted daughter.

I kind of think that Eko knows all Hale balloon guy is an "other" and was letting him know that he knows, if that makes sense, in addition to confessing.

Yes, that was Zeke/Captain Highliner (hence the theatrical glue to glue on his beard that Kate found in that locker)

Good call.....also, since Eko is all jungle-savvy, he probably has seen the faces of some of the Others, from when he and M-Rod hid in the jungle

I forgot all about Lost being on b/c My Cats were on and actually playing pretty well. Gotta go get a recap of the ep on abc.com

Super weird episode--Glad the babies ok now, but they need to figure out what to do with the balloon guy.

It was pretty good episode. I tend to like it when they focus on Jin and Sun. I think as much as they struggle they have a lot of love and want to make up for their past mistakes.

But here are my thoughts: SPOILERS for this episode

Sun - I swear when they showed that hotel owner's son again I thought they were gonna say it was an affair!!!! I was like "OMG Sun cheated!".. But I was glad it didn't turn out that way. Yay for Sun and Jin. Even though I'm not into them having another baby on the island I'm happy that they were finally able to get pregnant.

Ana-Lucia - I'm glad she talked to Sayid. Even though it prolly didn't help. I'm glad she at least did it.

Ballon Guy - He has got to be an other! After his convo with Jack and Locke. That was too creepy. I thought once he drew the map that he was gonna turn out good - but then that convo happened. Now I'm worried about Charlie and Sayid.

I'm confused on next week's episode. I didn't get that much out of the previews.

I do think Sun cheated.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE kill off MRod. PLEASE. She has ONE facial expression and it pains me to watch her.

oh i know, I am so sick of her! At first, i sorta liked the change in characters, but now she's just friggin annoying!

I don't think Sun cheated simply b/c of Locke was able to walk again after they got stranded on the island, then Jin's swimmers finally hit the jackpot.

Good episode. I love Sun & Jin. I was also happy to see Bernard & Rose again. He was so cute trying to find her a pearl. Also, I agree with Kate. Who the hell packs a pregnancy test?

I recently found out that the producers have decided to make a background episode for Rose & Bernard.

Okay I have mixed feelings about it because of Jin's face at the end -- she made a face that seemed like she was lying but then again as said before the island could be a place for miracles...Locke was able to walk to again and maybe sun was able to produce sperm or whatever what wrong with him...

As for creepy dude, I definitely think that he is an other -- I mean he could have seen that red balloon before and just said that it was his! I just dont think that the red balloon thing will prove that he is not an other -- the french lady has always been right and she has said from day one that he is an other and he will do his damnest to trick you so I think he is good at lying!! Very anxious to know...

Good episode though...
