Please also pray for my Great Aunt (And adpi sister). She lives in pensicola, FL. She is in her late 80s early 90s and was hit pretty hard last year. It is devistating that they are going through this again this year. I have not heard any word about how bad things are, but I'm sure she is probably safe and just wanting things out.

Unhappy Well, it's official.

Last night, I broke my engagement to the former mr. honeychile. We had a long talk afterwards, and agreed that, as much as we love each other, if we haven't married after almost five years, the issues between us aren't going to change enough in the near future. We're going to talk over the weekend, and get some of the "this is yours, that is mine" stuff cleared away. We prayed together, and I cried while Mr. Stoic choked up.

He is a wonderful, loving man - if anyone knows a woman who is a born-again Deadhead & lives in Chicagoland, let me know. I wish him every happiness, as he does me.

Yes, I'm miserable. I know this is for the best, but that doesn't mean that I don't feel as if my heart has been ripped out of my chest, stomped on, and thrust back in.

I really, really want to thank each of you for your prayers. Y'all have been wonderfully patient with me over the past months (when this was all slowly coming together), and I so appreciate it. My sisters are the greatest!!

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD , "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

And -"this, too, shall pass."

Praying for you, that each day becomes easier than the last.

Thank y'all so very much. BBelleADPi, you just repeated a prophecy given to me yesterday! There IS peace in the morning, and I've been leaning on "For those who love Him, for those who are called according to His purpose, God works all things together for good." Romans 8:28

{{{{{honey}}}}}

I'm so sorry to hear that you are hurting. As BBelle indicated "this too shall pass." Another wise woman told me, "If you are going thru h@ll, KEEP GOING til you're outta it! Don't stop and wallow in it!"

I'll keep you in my prayers...

I just found out that a guy I grew up with has Pancreatic cancer. This really hurts me bad cuz I have known him for 18 years and he is one of the nicest people I know. Where I live is a little school district so we all grow up with each other and each other's families. I know this is pretty hard on the family and he is considered young for this since we are 23 and you get the cancer after 40. When I found out I was crying all the way to my friend's house. I am just hoping that everything works out the best with him and his family.

On happier news my best friend just found out that she is pregnant and is due in March. We are very happy and excited for her. The only problems we see arising are the father's reaction and the fact that she just got a teaching job in Cottonwood and is commuting each day from Flagstaff. I am telling that baby that it is not allowed to be born during NASCAR weekend in Vegas and she is telling the baby to wait until spring break.

Please pray for me sisters, I just moved to a new city and a new COUNTRY. I have been here for almost 2 months and adjusting is easier than I imagined, but I really miss my family. Montreal is sooooooooooo far from Corpus Christi, Texas. I am starting a Christian school in a church so please pray that everything is ready in time and that my sanity remains intact. Also, please pray for a certain unspoken situation............it's so hard to explain and a long story so I won't bore you with the details. Yall are the best.

Do you know how long he's had the pancreatic cancer? I really, really hate to say this, but unless the Lord works a miracle, pancreatic is about the fastest spreading cancer. I don't want to be a downer, just warning you. And I HAVE seen miracles happen!!

Wouldn't it be funny if she named the baby "Daytona"?! The happiest news in the world is when a baby is coming!!!!

an update and a new request

first, just wanted to let you all know that DH & I have decided against adopting his niece. After a lot of prayer, meditation - and absolutely no contact from the agency, we have concluded that it is not meant to be. My F-I-L took the baby's mom to the agency to see the baby. She is in foster care, in a good home in my hometown. My S-I-L was in a mandated drug treatment outpatient program. She was asked to leave for dirty urine (and probably also for skipping it, we learned).

My mom's youngest sister turned 50 this month, complete with a huge party. Great time, can't believe she's 50. Yesterday she went to the ER for trouble breathing. She was then admitted after a CAT showed a large mass in her chest. She is really scared! They are keeping her til WED and doing all sorts of tests on MON. They are thinking lymphoma or sarco-somthing-like-that or even TB. Her older child, my cousin, is scheduled to go off to his frosh year at college in a couple weeks. She is the primary bread-winner in the family. I really believe in the power of our prayers. Please keep Carol in yours.
