I agree with Nittany... I thought the finale was a great show, good entertainment. I actually considered turning it on, doing some other stuff around the house and then sitting down for the last 15 minutes to see who won. But, it turned out to be one heck of a show and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

And of course, loved that my Arkansas boy, Kris won!

Well, she was loony, but this is very sad. Alexis Cohen, who was the girl who flipped off the camera and had rather colorful language for the judges was killed in a hit and run this past weekend. Looks like they have arrested the guy.

Like last week, last night's show was painful...tons of sucky performances. Just because you "love" the song doesn't mean you should be singing it. Seriously, haven't these people seen previous seasons?

Adam and Allison will be the top guy and girl. I think Nick/Norman could actually make it through. If not, Lorne Michaels should phone him up and get this guy on SNL. If it's not Nick/Norman, then I think it should be Matt Giraud (piano bar guy)...otherwise he'll get a wildcard spot.

This group was definitely stronger than the other two on the whole.

Nathaniel is the one who was crying all the time in Hollywood, right? I couldn't stand him. He can't sing that well and has a strange stage presence.

Yes! He is extremely annoying. And I'm sorry, but Meatloaf? Very random song choice. And it's sad to think that half of the people competing probably don't even know who Meatloaf is.

And another note about Scott... I went back and listened to him again, but I didn't watch him.. I just listened. As weird as this might seem, he sounds better when you don't watch him sing.

Last night's show was pretty good. I even watched more than half of the performances in their entirity, which hasn't happened the previous two weeks.

I think Lil and Jorge will be on top, with Junot in the third spot. I dunno, maybe Von could be a spoiler.

I feel bad for the girls this week because it seems like all the decent ones got clumped together. I thought they were way too harsh on Arianna and I think Felicia would have sailed through to the Top 12 if she had performed on either of the other nights. I hope they both come back as potential wild cards.

And although I agree that Nathaniel needs to get beat down with his headband, if you didn't look at him and only listened to his voice, he was actually quite good. Sorry, I can't say the same for Scott..."not feelin' it, dawg."

Anyone else feel like the judges are REALLY giving extra ass-kissing to their favorites to make sure they go through...?

I do! And I don't know if this has been addressed here yet, but how does everyone feel about having a 4th judge? Personally, I find it annoying and redundant. I usually fast-forward through half of the judges comments because it takes so long (but I always make sure to listen to Simon's). Most of the time I'm passing over Kara's, and it's not just because she's the new judge, but because half the time, I don't think that she has a decent thought of her own. I feel like she just reiterates what other people have already said.

But that's just my opinion
