Well, I watched the Season Finale tonight on HBO on-demand, and it was good.

There were some pleasant surprises.

There were some very unpleasant surprises.

There were some plot developments that you could see from a mile away.

And there were some reminders why you REALLY need to watch Season 2 if you haven't already.

All in all, I give the episode -- and the season -- a solid A.

Cool

I just finish watching the Final episode of season 4 also...I will not be a spoiler but I can't wait till everyone gets to watch it so there can be a discussion. I will say I enjoyed it and left me still wanting more. Like Senusret said, There were some plot developments that you could see from a mile away and yet some surprises!

The Wire has become my Sunday night addiction, I have no clue what I am going to do on Sunday nights now. I am already missing it.

I read that next season, season 5 will be the final season of The Wire, and the focus will be on The Media. Sounds kinda boring to base the whole season on the media. I can't imagine how they will do that especially the way season 4 ended.

I am going to get all those seasons for myself as a Christmas gift.

How long is the break between seasons? I discoved this show the season finale of season 4. It seemed as if the break ~~may~~have been about a month.

There aren't enough reasons for me to say "baby booking" even though it's my new favorite phrase.

"You afraid of baby booking?"

lmao

Okay...I just finished episode 50 and I am still feeling like ! Is it a reason to seek counseling because I found myself cursing at the T.V.? Just curious.

Rumor

ALL HIPHOP
THE WIRE RUMORS!

I can't hold this back. If you love "The Wire" like me, you want to get the next season in two weeks - not 2008. (Yes, 2008!!!!!!!) That's not going to happen, but certainly we don't want to wait the 3 years for the next season. Well, what its looking like is that AVON is coming back for the 5th season of the super series. Now, the rumor I am getting is that Wood Harris will return to play Avon. The only thing is, there are rumored contract negotiations that will dictate whether or not he will come back. On the flip side, Wood is starting his rap career. No hate, but he kicked a freestyle for Wendy Williams and Charlemagne Tha God that didn't go over too well. (I can’t watch the finale of the season – I can’t believe its over.)
