😂 It is. They could be a combined ad. I can see it now: “Fatback and Salt Pork. Perfect for when you want your jeans and arteries stretched to the limit.”

Might as well change the names to cardiac crack and stroke strips.

ETA: Expired gas station sushi, cardiac crack and stroke strips. That’s one helluva combination right there.

My favorite thing to do on here is to laugh. I’m excited about the Detroit/Minnesota game tomorrow because whichever team wins, it’s going to be massive amounts of trash talking on this thread. I have a feeling somebody isn’t going to show if her team loses though. Just putting that out there Lol

This old story may put me on cheerfulgreek's bad side, but I'll tell it anyway:

Super Bowl IV was played 55 years ago between the Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings, and was the first SB I watched on a color tv. Our family watched the game with loads of relatives, over for food and fun, at my grandparents home not too far from the border of Minnesota.

When they asked a very young me which team I thought would win I chose KC, but only because they had red uniforms. I liked the color red, and disliked the color purple.

Everyone else cheered for Minnesota, but the team with the red uniforms won it.

Super Bowl V the next year, between the Baltimore Colts and Dallas Cowboys, wasn't even shown in our state because neither of the teams was from our area. TV stations way back then had the option to not show the Super Bowl, so my Dad had to listen to the big game on the radio as he worked outdoors on our roof.

Interesting Vikings history, Cheerio. I just looked up their four Super Bowls and the last one they were in was in 1977, six years before I was born. I swear, I was born way too late in life. I missed all the great music, and also the excitement of my Vikings going to four Super Bowls.

I’m actually going to see your post as a good sign of luck. My first Vikings Super Bowl will be their first one all over again, except they’ll win this time. Your post is telling me this one will be another Vikings/Chiefs Super Bowl.

That Bears game ending was great!

Wow, Denver is kicking KC's butt. 21-0 right now.

KC didn't play their first string because they didn't need to win. No Mahomes, no Kelce. That's not a real game.

The REAL game starts soon!

That Lion is big enough to devour all of the Vikings as well as CG's horn, helmet, dress, boots, and ego!

Go Lions!!! It's on!

I didn't know how big it was going to be and I did try to figure out how to resize it but you can't. So it stays

CG hasn't posted a team cheer tonight, but I recall a different kind of simple cheer performed when FranTarkenton hosted SNL in1977:

Lean to the Left
Lean to the Right
Live from New York
It's Saturday Night

Then there's the Mary Tyler Moore Show reruns, where during the opening credits for a few years they show Mary washing her car while wearing a FranTarkenton number 10 Vikings home uniform.
