Well well well,
welcome to the party, my fellow Ag.
Careful though, there are those that are jealous because we love our state so much. They display their jealousy by making snide and rude comments.
But we all know it's because the envy is eating them alive.

Haha, thanks for the welcome.
I agree that it must just be envy... I mean, not everyone is lucky enough to be from a place like Texas!

24 hours.....
24 hours from now and i shall be on my way to the PROMISED LAND!!
lifesaver, be expecting a phone call from me as soon as i hit I-35 in Kansas, i'll be blarin the Pat Green in the background.
Incidentally, if my buddies bail on the tubing trip this Saturday, could we get an impromptu one going? maybe Kitso could crash with his favorite Lambda Chi?

Yeah, give me a call when you are in earshot of a cell tower. We gotta figure some stuff out about the trip. Adri and I kinda figured out our itenerary and such (when she needs to get back and when I can leave, etc). And we gotta discuss the ticket thing. (I dont wanna wait till we get there - it could be sold out.)
We could definately throw a tubeing trip together if your buds bail. Ya know me, am always down for the guad. As always, youre welcome to crash at my place. The futon downstairs is still the most comfortable one on the planet. AND just had it drycleaned, so theres no DNA on it. lol
Be safe on your drive punk-ass...
edited to add a photo for kitso:
That woudl make ya longhorn fan, even if just for a moment.

Awesome! I was looking for a saw 'em off pic too, but I couldn't find any other ones.
Sidenote: There are so many more Aggies in Austin than I expected!

Lindz,
I don't know if you've seen this site yet, but it's pretty funny.
www.longhornfootball.net
if you haven't been there before, trust me it's worth it. Despite the address
I'm sad, i only have one more night in Dallas before i leave to return to SD.
But Saturday i'll be at Pat Green with some of my most favorite GC peeps ever!

So happy to see a thread about Texas. But when you talk about Texas its kind of hard to go around the UT and A&M dispute. Anyway, I'm from South Texas and believe me it's a whole other world down here!

Welcome Phoos! I went to TAMUK (Of course it was A&I back then) for a year before I trnasferred. It was a whole different world down there, but I'd take it ANY DAY over Amarillo.
I miss youngs Pizza and the Luau. There will always be a part of me in Kingsville.
