That thing you said (was it you?) about working to death the second year was dead on.

This appellate brief/oral arguments project thing left me completely blindsided during finals. Also, what you said about the 10th circuit rules whenever that was.. I agree. The brief was for the 10th circuit. The 10th circuit does a lot of unnecessary things to the appellant, then requires not as much from the appellee AND gives them 5 more pages.
GOD law school is so lame sometimes. I had the same problem - did my appellate brief, did well, did my oral arguments, did well...and then realized I had 5 finals left.

CivPro on Monday and I'm done. I think I'm doing well, but I'm just stressing myself out and ready for this exam period to be over.

Finished finals last night. I'm here at work staring at a massive pile of things left undone on my desk.. It's difficult to motivate myself to do anything productive right now though..

I'm kind of jealous all of you are done. I'm sitting at work, trying to concentrate, but really just thinking about my last exam.

Who gives a damn at this point... what's done is done.

I'll admit -- it is pretty damned strange to be able to actually go home after work.

I kind of like it.

Next semester will be great though.. no more LRW!

If you have civpro, I have some kickass study materials. My test outline/roadmap for personal and subject matter jurisdictions worked extremely well.

If you're interested, drop me a PM. I'll scan whatever in and send it your way.

Now I work 8:30am to 6pm dealing with a lot of divorcees and generally unhappy people.. and it's like vacation.

I hear ya - done with finals, now I have just work to worry about. It almost feels like a winter break.

It's mandatory at our school and I'm the director of our VITA program so I felt like I should get it over with sooner rather than later...kind of kicking myself for that now that it's 11:33 and I'm wrapping Christmas presents instead of studying. :P

VITA is a great program - we had it at the bar association I worked for prior to law school, and I'm trying to get involved with the program here at my school. My advisor is the head of the tax clinic, and our most well-known professor is a tax expert, so I'm guessing I'll be taking it at some point.

Good luck though, and hope the exam goes well.
