We are in the Last Days, it seems.
This stuff is rid-durn-diculous. I agree with Eclipse -- that money could be used for those babypeople's college funds. But it seems that their purruntz aren't acting like purruntz.

Please tell me that's an elementary school graduation and these kids are just a little spoiled. (Actually, the dresses are precious - and that plaid suit is cute as well.)

Steeltrap, I said this was a sign of it being the last days as well.
I found out from another listserve that this is a daycare center in Baltimore.
These same kids grow up with no books in the house and the only reason the computer is there is to download music and movies.

I'm still SMH. And I feel you about the priorities. I grew up prior to computers, but there were tons of books, including the encyclopedia, in my home. And I had my library card, too.

Besides all the other's posts of the ridiculousness of it all
I am laughing that anyone who has spent time in B-more instantly recognized where they were from the houses in the background...no one needed to tell us where they were located..
that is too funny..

I was shocked when I saw the MD license plate. Having the location clarified, it all makes sense now and I'm not surprised.

I did not even look at the license plates. Plus I have never been to Baltimore.

The city of Baltimore is interesting to say the least. You should visit just for the experience. Outside of the city gets better reviews from me.

Geesh, I hate to see what they're going to do for their kindergarden graduation.

im late!!...
Did you go to your prom? Yea!
What did you wear? Colors? My dress was all black with a lil white around my chest area.
Were you prom king/queen? NO!!
Did you go with someone special or friend? I went with a special friend, who got drunk and high and left me at the after party
What was your prom theme? I cant even remember and i graduated in 01' gotta check the glass on my shelf
How much did your prom cost? Some proms now have ish prices? Prom was 95 each ticket. plus dress alterations, a navigator, club tickets, hair and a million other expenses. All i know is my dad spent over 1g but im his oldest daughter so i got the works

Oh me too!
I had really weird experiences that I very hazily remember...
Junior Prom:
I remember wearing a maroon dress that showed a lot of cleavage. But, I was supposed to be going with an old friend of mine. The night of the dance, I was waiting for him to arrive and he never did. When I called his house, his parents were horrified because they looked on the calendar and realized that they had put down the wrong weekend! LOL! So, I never got to my junior prom.
However, to make up for it, a week later (the weekend that he THOUGHT was prom weekend), he took me out and spent upwards of $200 on me. And, this was just an old friend! I didn't even really talk to him after that because we went our separate ways.
D.O.M. (Debutantes of Monroe):
This was an invitation-only social event not associated with school. To be honest, I was SHOCKED that I got an invitation because it was one of those things that all the girls in the city would hope for, so people cried when they weren't invited each year. I wore this killer purple ballgown - again, made by my mom.
Senior Prom:
Did you go to your prom?
Yes
What did you wear? Colors?
Sparkly silver dress that my mom made
Were you prom king/queen?
No
Did you go with someone special or friend?
I feel like I had a date but I CAN'T REMEMBER! Oh my gracious! I get all the dances confused.
What was your prom theme?
I have no idea.
How much did your prom cost?
I believe we just had to be current with our senior dues and it was included. The dues covered a number of senior events but it was only like $50 each semester or something like that.
