McBaby!!!!
I don't have tear ducts when it comes to watching TV. But I did yell at the screen quite a bit.
Lexi said "I wish I had gotten to see the actual dress." so I think Mer is going with the foofy white/silver dress. She looked amazing in it, so I'm glad.
Lexi and her eating=priceless
The little girl=
McDreamy and McHottie=ugh, boys
Bailey=genius. Emmy or bust!
Izzie=at first, I wanted to slap her, but I guess I understand. If you're on death's doorstep, hell get a laugh while you can! If I'd been Izzie, I would've pulled stunts all the time. If I'd been Cristina, I would've smacked her into next week and stolen her oxygen mask.
ETA: WOO-HOO! Grey's has been picked up for Season 6, I already can't wait!

Yeah, Shonda gets me everytime with the dang previews for next week, lol!!!
CG: I like how you think, lol!!!
Cheif's face when he saw Mere trying on dresses just reinforced my thought that he kinda, sorta regards her as the daughter he never had.

THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I SAID!!! I really think he looks at Mer and sees the girl who should've called him "Daddy." He saw that dress and looked like he was regretting that he wouldn't walk her down the aisle...ooooooh if they make up and she asks him to give her away at the wedding, I'll SQUEAL!!!

I actually thought the Izzy stuff was funny...especially when Derek came out and said "the morning coat is non-negociable." hehe
And yes, I also agree that it would be super sweet if the chief got to walk Mer down the aisle.

The little girl had me in tears. She was so adorable and heartbreakingly sad.
The dress Meredith was wearing at the end was very pretty.

I am so glad that I am not the only one that cried....I was bawling my eyes out by the end of the scene with the little girl!!!
If Katherine Higel gets the emmy over Chandra again....I going to hit something!
I want they to write in the pregnancy!

My thirteen year old SON today said that this was the best Grey's episode ever. I thought it was on par with the bomb inside the guy, but my son thought this one was better.

I did not know that. The writer was really good...and I cried too. My husband came home from class and I said "this is a really good episode." His response was to my tears saying "I gather that."

I've always thought that the Chief regards Mer as his daughter. She hates it sometimes, but I think it would be great if she embraced it. He has been far more fatherly to her than Thatcher, even when they were trying to make things right.
I just hope that this grown-up Mer we've been watching will realize that. It would be beautiful if he gave her away.
ETA: Wait, is Thatcher still alive? He is, isn't he? I'm sure he'll be invited... having the Chief walk Mer down the aisle would be really awkward then...

I think Thatcher is still alive, but he's really not a part of Mere's life, especially after his wife died, remember? Have we seen Thatcher since he slapped her last season? I don't think he'd do it, nor would Derek let him. Just my thoughts.

Plus Mer and Lexie are close now and Thatcher was emotionally abusive (I don't remember of there was anything physical) to Lexie. So I highly doubt Derek or Mark would let Thatcher anywhere near them.

Now I remember. I knew he wasn't a part of Mer's life, but I forgot about he and Lexie's relationship. Yep, he won't be at the wedding.
