I would just like to point out that Jesus' first miracle was providing alcohol at a party. That's all I'm sayin'.

Hotty Toddy! No. 2 for two years in a row. My friend at the University of Massachusetts often regales me with tales of the zoo. I laugh them off and tell her to bring her butt down South.

I'm obvsiously late on this, but I am dumbfounded on how UF topped this list. I had to transfer out of Gainesville before I started UF because I was so bored. Maybe I wasn't there long enough to give it a chance, but that was by far the worst experience ever.

I hear what you're saying, I know a few people that did the same.

And since when does The Princeton Review make the ultimate decision on which school is a party school?

Other than the schools, not really. At least Tallahassee has FAMU as another school where things are happening.

Ahhh, but I am quite nostalgic about my days partying at UF before I was even in college!

Well, I think the problem with Gainesville is that all the bars are dispersed throughout downtown, so the student population is sprinkled in different places. Instead of all the students being in one general area, there are small amounts of students at different places. With the exception of Gator City and Rue Bar, I never found a full bar. The aforementioned were generally too packed to have fun. Plus, they only went out on Friday and Saturday nights, it was a ghost town during the rest of the week. The cover was AWFUL as well.

With Tallahassee, we pretty much have one block (The Strip) with about 6-7 bars, which concentrates a huge amount of students in 7ish bars all next to each other. I love the Tally party scene, it's packed virtually every night. The cover is low and you meet so many people.

The Princeton Review failed. I'm glad I made the switch.

Ohio U is notorious in the state as the "party school." So they got that right. I think my school has a bit of a rep in the state as being "the party school for kids who don't want to go like 4 hours away to Athens to party."
