And that is EXACTLY how I felt when I visited SC as a senior in high school.
Email me and I'll tell you about financial aid and how you can afford it on any budget. I can't access my yahoo account from work, so response not as speedy as I like, but you have my IM, so IM me, and we'll talk about it.
USC was a GREAT experience for me! I loved every minute of it and love the Trojan legacy that I am a part of. The school pride there is so incredible--and I think you get it, you felt it when you stepped onto the campus!!!!
Fight On for old SC!

Liz - thanks!

I'm happy to be back - though my mind is still stuck in SoCal, lol.
Amy - exactly! Once I stepped onto the SC campus, something weird happened to me. I could just feel the pride that USC students have for their school, could understand why alumni connections are so strong, etc. I love the aspect of school pride, since my HS has none - everyone always has his head stuck in the books! I felt immediately relaxed at USC...and the people seem so cool

.
It was amazing to hear my tour guide talk about how those who didn't even attend USC have donated so much to SC! For example, Steven Spielberg, among others. And it was wonderful to hear about USC's job search "for life" (like if you decide to change your job in your 30's, you can always come back to USC at their career center!).
It really DOES seem like USC is like a family! I've never felt that at other college visits...not even at UCSB, which I also loved.
The only problems are: 1) how hard SC admissions is getting to be each year...
2) if I don't get financial aid, I'm going to be putting my parents in serious debt when I graduate!
3) my parents don't like SC as much as the UCs

(cost + neighborhood), and of course you know about my sister
Well, anyway, I REALLY want to go to USC! I'm going to try my hardest with the SAT, since my GPA is lower than most who will be applying. Ahhh...I really want to be a Trojan!
