Guys: As has already been pointed out, this was an editorial, not a news piece. By its very nature, it's meant to be subjective. At various schools it's SOP to have non-Greeks cover the GLOs so that there won't be any favoritism.
While having someone outside of the Greek realm covering the fraternity/sorority beat makes sense, it can be a detriment because they don't understand how our organizations work. In this case, they don't realize that we're already acquainted w/how a governing body works and might actually have a clue on how to handle political situations.
