question on depledging

Regardless of whether the OP is asking for herself or her friend, there is no simple answer. Although technically, there might not be a rule that the Latina sorority cannot take depledged members of NPC groups, but that doesn't mean that the members of this chapter of the Latina sorority in question would offer membership to the woman. They may perceive the situation as the woman being indecisive or that they don't want to be a "second choice" to an NPC group (even though it may or may not be the case).

If a person was a part of the sorority she has to go through a process of dropping her letters and she has to wait sum time before consiering re=pledging. they do this because they don't want to initiate a member who has a history of dropping a sorority once so I believe it's two years before she can join another sorority. If she wasn't initiated but dropped on her own she can pledge another sosority. if she was dropped by the actives she will be critically reviewed to make sure she's worthy. Greek organizations don't want people with bad reputations.

The OP already made it clear in another thread which organization she was interested in, and it's not a local. So again, the OP needs to check with the NALFO sorority to figure out what their policies are.
