How about some chapter programming on conversation skills? Can't hurt!

Two problems I've noticed with guys like that:

1. Either they are TOO nice around girls...as in they hover, offering drinks and conversation and just won't go AWAY making them not only annoying, but seemingly desperate...

or...

2. They instantly gravitate to one side of the room during parties or mixers and only one or two will venture out. This makes the girls feel like they are in middle school. They will get bored. And leave.

or...

3. There are no girls there. This seems like a problem y'all have...because, well, you said it was. Have the girlfriends bring THEIR friends over. Girls aren't likely to come if they are going to be vastly out numbered. It's uncomfortable, especially around shy guys. Get them to bring three or four friends or sorority sisters to the house, hall, whatever. And when they and their boyfriends go out, get both the girl and boy friends to bring brothers and friends. Get group "dates" going.

you should try and earn a mixer. Have a contest within the fraternity who can convince the best sorority on campus to have a mixer/social with you. No one can resist the opportunity once its presented . we had one fraternity bring a rose to every single girl individually and we had to say yes to them for their greek week partner.
