"POP"!!! You are hilarious IowaHawkeye!!! I live in Texas and there is a guy here at my school from Wisconsin and we absolutely CRACK UP everytime he says "pop". We're not being mean or anything but it just sounds so weird to us. He says he is constantly laughing to himself at all the weird stuff we say, so I guess we're even.
Anyway, back on topic -I am totally addicted to Coke. I drink it all the time! I'm with you lifesaver on the soda diet but I can't stand the diet taste so I don't think I'll stick with it very long.

Starbucks - Coffee Frappucino with whipped cream - I can't get enough of those!

Jimmy Buffett - I am a huge fan - his music always puts me in a great mood

Shopping - Love, love, love to shop! Bargain hunting especially

Bust-a-move '99 for the Nintendo 64 - an awesome, horribly addictive puzzle game. I played my friend's copy so much that I finally broke down and bought a (hot pink) n64 so I could play the game whenever I wanted!

Teddy Bears - right now in my room I've got my Teddy from when I was little, a Gund bear that Josh got me this year, Elizabeth my Adopt-a-Bear and the Hallmark Kiss-Kiss bears. There's barely any room in bed for me!

Talking on my cell phone. I admit it. I am the cell phone girl, the one that always has it attached to her ear while walking across campus. What can I say? Unlimited mobile to mobile calling is a *great* thing!

(i'm just joking around - but up here in the midwest, if you say soda, people look at you funny!)
That is so funny! my best friend moved to Texas about 10 years ago from Michigan, and her mom still sometimes says "pop". I crack up every time i hear her say that. Sometimes, but very rarely she will say "ooh, who sings that record?" referring to the music. Anyway, you are right, people here do sometimes refer to any type of soda as "coke", but there are some that say "soda"

My addictions include:
1.Coke

2.My Computer(emails, and Greekchat)

3.Shopping(just bought the book Confessions of a Shopaholic- has anyone read that?)

4.Magazines

COFFEE!!!!!!!! I drink sooooo much of it. Before exams I can be found shaking because I drink so much coffee studying and because of nerves and a general addiction! And it HAS to be black...none of this "milk and sugar!" This year I was President of my sorority and I joked that I was gonna bring to the AGM no sister can bother the President until her thrid cup of coffee that day! Which would have meant talking to me at like, 9 in the morning! (Worked graveyard shift all year!) but that didn't pan over well since I seem to be the only one with the addiction! Oh well. One other thing: the coffee has to, literally has to be from TIM HORTONS!!! (For my fellow Canadian Greeks!)

hahaha - yeah dude, I get crap here ALL THE TIME for saying pop. I went into taco bell freshman year and asked for food and a pop - the guy thought i was trying to buy weed from him. Even funnier was that he was going to sell some to me - which was weird, to say the least. Long conversation ensued over the fact that i just wanted some mountain dew, and not any sort of drugs. Anyway though - long live pop

i got 3 more:

the smell of rubberbands (i keep a bag in my drawer and i sniff when i need a hit) and the smell of gasoling (i like to roll the windows DOWN at gas stations) and the smell of white-out (in high school, i would paint a piece of paper and hold it to my nose).

*so now, everyone is thinking "there is something wrong with MeezDiscreet" truth is, if i hear that one more time, i might start believing it *
