Red face

I didn't mean to start anything taht might get out of hand.I just wanted to get some views from people who have read the books and how they feel about them.I am sure there are some Greeks who are born again Christians. We have a right to pst on any board just like anyone else, there are hundreds of topic that I do not respond to.If you don't like this topic don't respond, but don't tell us we do not have the right to post. There is a lot of things that are going on that would not if we all held up to our Christian beliefs."I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ".
I can also have opinions on other issues as well.I hope to hear from the Christians and the non-Christians as well.
I have not seen the movie,I am on book #6 after I have read all nine I will rent the novie.
peace

No offense pledgetrainer2 but if you were talking to that 1 person and you didn't want others to respond, you probably should have emailed that person privately because this is a public forum.

I am currently reading "Nicolae" and I can't wait to move on to the next one. I was raised as a Christian and I wanted to tell justmyo that I commend her on being born again. What a great void is fills on your life, huh? I also wanted to tell justmyo that the movie Left Behind is only about the first book, not the entire series. So it won't reveal any info you haven't read yet. I still haven't watched it but plan to..
And I just don't understand how some can think that religion is a crutch? Isn't that what GOD and our church families are their for, to lean on and offer support in times of need? I don't want this thread to turn into a bible study class but I just don't understand what the big deal is about justmyo starting her thread in a justifiable forum. Everyone has their different beleifs about religion; justmyo was only asking about a book.
pledgtrainer2: BTW, way to stick up for yourself (and others that are proud of their faith... and still have FUN!!!). You rock!

Thanks for those kind words. I just wanted to question the notion that having as much fun as possible didn't always come at no price to others, even when it's thought that it doesn't. There are prices to pay on this good earth that a lot of people don't understand until it is too late. We don't know what the Everafter holds for us, for sure. I have to believe that it is better than what is on this earth, though. Just my opinion of course. But, I have seen a world of hurt inflicted on those who love the people who are "having a lot of fun" without worrying about how it affects others-or not knowing that it even does.

It is good to see someone with strong Christian beliefs posting here. We all need to be reminded of our belief system, whether it is Christian, Jewish or otherwise, and work on being better people all the time. It's not always easy, when there are so many bad influences on us all, day in and day out.

I've read the first 2 books and I thought they were really great! The scene in (I think) book 2 where Nicholae is conducting the meeting in the UN after Buck gave his life to Christ and what immediately happened after it was one of the most riveting that I have ever read! I could not turn the pages fast enough!! They made me examine my walk with the Lord and ask myself what I am doing to fulfill The Great Commission. I plan getting and reading the others when I am on vacation in a couple of weeks.
