Yeah, I thought that was over the top too. On the other hand, I don't really think Carey should have been fired, I think Nicole should have been fired. She should have spoken up when she saw that ridiculous bathing suit.

I definately think that Nicole should have spoke up more and told Carey "no" but as a project manager I don't think you can do everything. If she delegated to Carey to come up with the men's line that was his job. Michelle was vocal against the outfit. They also should some of the other team members stating their dis-taste of the swimsuit, but Carey was adament and probably "forced" it on them. Nicole was probably looking at it "win this fight" or "win the war".

Am I the only one who thought the prize for the winning team was a bit much? 1) they get to stay in the mansion 2) they got to meet Hugh Hefner (no matter your feelings on the man he does have millions and is a good business man) and 3) they are exempt from next weeks challenge. I'm sorry, no wonder people in this world have a sense of "entitlement".

I think the "prize" was not really a prize at all... but a desperate attempt at ratings. So far, it's all been about T&A. Bikinis? Models? Playboy mansion. Bunnies? (I'm sorry, but that may be a reward for the men, but for the mostly female team?)

And.. next week... the task involves more T&A-- cheerleaders.

This show is getting worse and worse.

But, The Donald is dillusional. He leaned over to Cary and said that he (The Donald) had a "great body, a really, really great body." I guess he thinks he has great hair too!

What a stupid reward.

I thought Carey was pretty cool, and there are plenty of guys who would've worn that suit. It's funny that Donald was all OMG NO GUYS CAN WEAR THAT but when you think about it, it was no more revealing than a bikini. So WTF. Apparently this show teaches us that guys can be ugly and doughy and shouldn't have to witness tight-fitting hotpants, but women = teh boobiez.

I received one of those "Where's George" bills in my change a year ago. I saved it until I went to Bermuda so I could give the person who registered it a little fun tracking it.

Exactly. Trump likes to emphasize that this is a "job interview," but apparently it's a job interview where you might have to model swimwear (they had to come up with 6 designs but only got 4 models), go to the Playboy mansion (that had to be fun for a nin-member team with only two guys on it, only one of whom is straight), and where you get asked by your prospective employer if you are gay.

The show, which so far has done very poorly in the ratings, is almost a parody of itself.

"Would've" doesn't equal "should've," however. Very few guys have the necessary BMI to, shall we say, carry it off. (And Trump is not one of them.) Of the ones who do, most are going to chose something more, for want of a better term, masculine, like board shorts. Bottom line: regardless of how many men could wear Carey's design, a pretty small slice of the market would.

Carey most certainly should have been fired. He lost sight of the task (stupid and irrelevant to working in "The Trump Organization" as it was). The task was not to be creative and cutting edge. It was to design swim suits that the prospective buyers would actually buy. While there is a market for the trunks that Carey designed, it is a niche market. This was not the time to cater to a niche market, it was a time to cater to as broad a market as possible, so as to have as many sales as possible.

Carey was in charge of the designs for men's swimsuits. His team sold over $19.5K in women's swim suits and $360 in men's. Two of the three men's swimsuits didn't sell at all. When other team members questioned Carey's designs, he blew them off instead of thinking, "hmmm, if they feel this way, maybe the buyers will, too." His designs, which were based on his failure to grasp what the task was about, were why they lost.

When Frank gets fired, he can get a job as a Prince Charles look-alike.

I think going to the Playboy Mansion would be pretty great.

I'd also be curious to see just how "really great" The Donald's body really is. I don't doubt that he has some trainer show up at 4:00AM each day to work him out and give him the gears, but in his business, he must eat out in restaurants a lot, and that is not conducive to having a 6-pack, I'm sorry.

I think the production team must be made up of a lot of men on this show, because a lot of the "rewards" in the past have been much more appealing to men. A few that come to mind: a scrimmage with an NHL team, a "shoot out" with the NY Knicks, tennis with Anna Kournikova (I'm assuming because she's hot), and from this season, a visit to the Playboy mansion and next week's Laker Cheerleaders thing. Actually, I agree that a lot of the challenges could be pretty cool, but Trump always describes the rewards from the male point of view...he didn't say they get to talk to Hugh Hefner and tour the grounds, he said something like "you'll be surrounded by many beautiful women" which probably only appealed to the guys.

And as for the female team members who modeled the swimsuits...that was a bad idea. Since when is it professional to show off your body half-naked on TV? It makes the women hard to take seriously as an "executive" at the Trump corporation.

Trump even said the following to Ivana in the second season, when she pulled down her skirt to help win a challenge: "You stripped, and I'm not hiring a stripper."

A star on the WOF is not an honor. It's bought, not bestowed.

Back in the olden days, a celeb's fan club would buy the star for their honoree.

I sincerely doubt that's how Donald got his star.

I had a feeling Michelle was going to crack under pressure. She just wasn't cut out for that kind of responsibility, I guess.

It's funny because right when she resigned, my friend called me and he was LIVID. He tried out for The Apprentice: LA and was obviously pissed that this stupid girl flat out resigned like that. "But that could have been my spot instead!!!! She QUIT!" Um, okay C.

You know, I kind of see her point. She was clear that she didn't want to sleep outside in a tent, with all the (dis)comforts that come with living outside.

I have to agree with her. It's not what she signed up for.

And it's a stupid idea, IMHO. Just really annoying. Thank God I have Tivo, because I am fastfwding through all the scenes of the other team, living it up. I mean, who really cares? Let's see some competition!
