Well, here's another point of view.....
My daughter rushed last year with much encouragement from me! She went and hated it! Just the general process of all of it, not the girls. It just wasn't her.
I really wish most places had deferred rush where the sororities actually get to know the girls and the girls get to observe rather than quick judgements on looks and what is on a piece of paper and first impressions.
She got a bid but did not accept it and afterwards later in the semester 2 sororities that had dropped her really encouraged her to rush again after they got to "know" her! (She is quieter than some!!

)
Anyway my point is.....tell her to enjoy it! She can always rush next year if she doesn't accept a bid. There are many independent sororities, chrisitian sororities, organizations etc that might be more of a fit for her! There is so much out there, be selective, find your right fit! If it is a large national sorority or the band!
Good luck to your daughter! I know its rough!
