Her first book was No Disrespect, a quasi-autobiographical book. It is truly eye-opening!

I just got finished reading Between Lovers by Eric Jerome Dickey...I didn't care for it too much. I think as his books go on, he adds more and more flesh in them...and it's starting to read more like soft porn. Right now, I am currently reading E. Lynn Harris's new book, Any Way The Wind Blows, I have a lil bit more to go b4 I can give an opinion, but I know one thing, I have had about enough of the gay theme...both books have left me not wanting to read another sentence about someone being gay...too graphic

hi soror!

Please respond back to let me know how E lynn's new book is when you finished. I'm currently reading Temptation by Victoria Murray, and I plan to start E Lynn's new book
next. If you haven't read Temptation, I recommend it. It is a great read! A wonderful Christian fiction novel. BTW,k does anyone know of any other good Christian fiction books?

I know I am probably putting myself out there, but I have to talk about the Harry Potter books! I know they are supposed to be for kids, but those books are great. I just finished book three, (The Prisoner of Azkaban) but if you are starting out, you would want to read The Sorcerer's Stone. Don't knock them 'til you've tried them!

Question New Book

I recently picked up "The Sisters of Theta Phi Kappa" by Kayla Perrin. Anyone read it or heard anything about it?

I am sorry but that sounds like hogwash. How can you NOT really be ready to write a book? If you are not ready, then don't publish it. Excuses are the tools...

Exclamation There's another new book out now!!!!

I'm participating in a monthly book club and the book that we'll be reading for this month is caled, "nigger: The Strange Career of a Troublesome Word" by Randall Kennedy. When I first saw it in the bookstore, the title just grabbed me and I had to buy it. When I'm done reading it, I'll let you know how it was!!!
