Did you set a date? or are you guys waiting for the full affect of it to settle in?
June 2002 (right before Boule) and I am still getting used to the reality of it and using the terms fiance, engaged, husband, and MY wedding (as opposed to someone elses).

I will keep everyone posted. My mother is planning an Engagement Party for May 26th. If anyone wants to contact me privately feel free to do so.

PS - One request...Some good Christian music for the reception. Thanks!

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy! That is so wonderful! Congrats to you, sisterfriend! When the next issue of Martha Stewart Weddings comes out (they come out quarterly), get it! They have alot of good info and ideas in there. I used it to plan my pledge daughter's wedding! Many blessings to you!

The Washington Post has an article online today about people who are planning their wedding over the internet. You should check it out

Have you heard Sacred Love Songs by TD Jakes? That may be a good choice for you, although I am sure you want more than one CD! There is a good message board on Delphi devoted to Christian weddings. You may be able to find some ideas there. I think it is called Christian Weddings or Christian Couples or something like that. I know you if you do a search using Wedding and Christian it should be easy to find.

I also frequent weddingchannel.com messageboards. My name is Maeve there. TONS of brides go there and get advice and ask questions. I know there are quite a few Christian brides there, so they might be able to help you.

Congrats to one of my favorite FW sorors-I already wished you all the best but I just had to do it again here. I am engaged as well-I feel you on the having to get used to terms like fiance, wedding, engaged and such. Keep us updated on how your planning goes!!!!
