Well, good for her - seeing that she was flat frickin' wrong and all. He asked for your ID. Show it to him and step on. If you feel that you've been wrong, that's what filing a grievance is for. I don't think any of this would've happened if she was white, but for the love of Mike, don't GIVE them a reason to string you up! Although I am seriously disgusted that they indicted McKinney over something so small so quickly. Whatever happened to DeLay's crooked ass?

IMO, I think that she was wrong in the situation. I've heard that this it not the first time this has happened. Most people learn from their mistakes. I think she is real arrogant and expects everyone to know her at the drop of a dime. She was asked to stop multiple times and still proceeded. She was asking for an issue. Also, if this has happened before, why not wear the pin? If you honestly forgot it, why not have ID ready? She knew what she was doing. The interview on the radio was too funny when she kept avoiding the question concerning hitting the officer. I love Ms Sophia.

Wink Grand jury declines to indict Rep. McKinney

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A grand jury has declined to indict Rep. Cynthia McKinney, D-Georgia, who was accused of punching a Capitol Police officer in April.

The grand jury's decision ends the investigation into the incident, according to U.S. Attorney Kenneth Wainstein.

The March 29 altercation occurred at a security checkpoint in a congressional office building after officer Paul McKenna, a three-year veteran of the force, failed to recognize the six-term Georgia Democrat and tried to stop her from bypassing a metal detector.
