The University of Kentucky's Kentucky Alumni usually has affiliations in a write up (article) when applicable. "Before moving into the ABC house, Sally Smith lived in Keeneland Hall for two years. It was while living in Keeneland that she decided to audition for the marching band."

I have also seen affiliations listed it in the class note updates - these are very short and to the point - that alumni submit. However, I believe it is up to the alumnus to note. "Sally Smith, BA Music 1986, was appointed music director of Regional Tech College."

Regarding UK's Homecoming court, there usually is a short blurb - often only a line or two under a picture - of just the king and queen and states who nominated them and usually any affiliation as well. "Bob Smith, member of and nominated by XYZ and Susie Jones, member of and nominated by ABC were crowned 2005 Homecoming King and Queen at halftime of the UK football game."

And finally, there is a page dedicated to "old" articles from The Kentucky Kernel (UK's independent student newspaper) from 70, 50, 30 (and such) years back. There is almost always one Greek related write up. Might be as simple as "1960 Pat Boone played at the XYZ house." Other times, it might be something more in-depth such as a philanthropy event.

BU doesn't, unless you specifically mention it to them. If you mention it as major activity while you were an undergrad, they'd probably use it, but they don't include it by default.

THAT'S what I'm talking about! KillarneyRose was on Homecoming Court, and I never knew she was in a sorority - I just found out about that here!

The only time we have this is when there's a photo in a restaurant that used to be in the basement of the Cathedral of Learning, where every GLO had their own booth (seriously, they had bulletin boards & all posted there), and someone will post a "Who are these co-eds?" or something cliche like that.

Maybe, just maybe, this thread will encourage some more people to add their letters to their letters to their Alumnae Magazines?

Usually, they will list at the end of the article the activities or clubs that the student is/was a member of. It will say something like "Sue was president of the French Club and a member of the Alpha Phi sorority".
