I met another soror in my building yesterday! All this time I didn't know cause she teaches in another section and I hardly ever see her.

I'm so happy!

Talking it keeps on getting better!

how about this:

i went on a cruise to the bahamas last week and on the ship, i ran into this lady who was wearing a blue and gold bag that i could have SWORE i got at the SE regional conference in 2004. . . i ran up to her and said, "i am sorry, but can i look at this bag?" she was a little confused, but said yes. . . and when she flipped it, i saw our SHIELD! we hugged each other and chatted... and chatted... and chatted...
very happy moment.

At my place of employment we have a pretty relaxed dress code. There are a lot of greeks that work here but, only the younger ones actually wear peri to work every once in a while. I wear mine when the day permits as well ( I also have a pendant on the wall of my office, not to mention the license plate on my car). I just recently found out that one of the psychiatrists is a SGRHO (She saw my plate on the car as I was pulling into the parking lot)as well as one of the workers in human resources! SMALL WORLD!! I also recently met a psych intern student who is also a lady sigma (saw me in a one of a kind t-shirt one day)!

Thumbs up You just never know . . .

Sorhors and Greek Friends,

I just ran into one of my former students from the class of 2000 and what was she sporting the Royal blue and Gold big Sigma Neo shirt. I just couldn't believe this intelligent young African American woman is now calling me soror and she's also working on her MA in education!

Thumbs up I'm back

Yeah I've been gone for a million seconds... ok more like a billion, luv ya all. Anyways, back on top. It's something you get use to I guess. I remember getting snatched on the train coming home from class as the Soror had came through my chapter many moons ago.... we exchanged information and KIT to this very day. I remember having a soror run up on me in the dag on mall. Almost made me drop my ice cream..( I was in a sling), that same day I was EE-YIP in the mall by another soror....... that daggon jacket. And lastly tracked down in the supermarket by a soror who is in her 50's and has been active since undergrad. She said all she saw was the letters and had left her mother and was looking for me for 12mins... LOL.

It's nice to network and Lord knows I LOVE MY SGRHO..... EE-YIP
