I personally am frustrated when I read an article about a fraternity/sorority member that is famous and they do not mention it. I'm not saying ALWAYS talk about it, but it would be nice if Sheryl Crow talked about her sorority days or Brad Pitt talked about his days as a Sigma Chi! I personally do not see my sorority as a "campus thing". If my sisters and I did that, the sorority would not survive! It runs on alumnae support and volunteers!!! YOUR GREEK ORG IS A LIFETIME COMMITTMENT!!!!!!!!!

I'm feeling ya'll on this. Just because we have famous members in our orgs. doesn't make the rest of us less important. Our organizations were built on principles to with stand the rich and the poor. I must say there are some pretty deep brothas on this site. I appreciate your wisdom.

I do think its a shame that most greek celebs dont stand up and represent. Manders, said it well. We could use their help. Although, I do think that Katie Couric is a greater influence in some respects in terms of her occupation. Even though I dont ever hear her mention Tri Delt she represents her sorority well.
