My point is that this organization won't make our greek organization any stronger while I'm at the University. They won't be building a house, where as AOII coming on has a good chance at having a house by the end of my senior year.

Are you going to be a senior soon?

Yeah, actually it does matter whether or not they have a house. Every sorority on campus has a house at my University, even the lowest tier. The fraternities who don't have a house at the University are at 2nd and 3rd tier. So I'm pretty sure it matters.

Ok, let's see if your simple mind can follow this:
Greek does not equal NPC/IFC social sorority/fraternity.
Greek does not equal "Need for house"
This group does not appear to be a "social" sorority, rather a Multicultural group, which has a different purpose. I'm not aware of many (note I said many, not any) non-social GLO's that have houses (or maybe a chapter here and there have houses, but not nationally).
At my college, all 7 NPC sororities were housed, but none of the non-socials were.

Honestly I don't care.
The only ones that matter are NPC/IFC, i was just wondering if that's what they were.

I'm so glad I didn't go to a school where Greek orgs were labeled with "tiers." What ever happened to "We're all Greek together, no matter the letter?"

If we are all the same, there is no incentive for someone to join any particular group. We're not. People can speak politely without creating lies about being the same.

Okay I'm sorry, I'm only concerned with fraternities and sororities which have some sort of tradition, founded before 1900.

Now, would those founders be proud of you?

To dislike a particular sorority or fraternity just because they were founded post 1900 is just plain ridiculous.
I can see disliking a chapter of an organization for one reason or another...but to shit talk about the organization as a whole? Give me a friggin' break.
You and white star can go play in your witto sandbox now.
